Student answer (Band 5.5)
Entertainment always remained a thrilling topic for every age group people. It can be achieved through theatres, cinemas, and via online resources. Some people think that enternainment can only be achieved by online resources, so it is meaningless to go to cinema for enjoyment. But, some people still enjoy by going to cinema and I agree with their opinions.
Proponents view about getting enjoyment via online resources is also a good point. One can get enjoyment at any time without any boundary. Furthermore, not everyone can afford the ticket for cinemas. At home, they can enjoy with free websites, apps and videos. Moreover, most of the people are too busy to get enternainment by specially going to theatres. They have to extract time form their busy life. So, they can easily enjoy at home at any time after the office or busy schedule.
Opponents thought that cinemas and theatre are still important. Yes. they are! people can enjoy via cinemas and theatres. At home, one can get sick to the inner environment but by going to cinema, one could be refreshes. It is also important for the economic of the country because when more people visit to theatre more revenue will be generated by the government. Such places are also important for reunion of friends and family. At this era when everyone is busy in their own life and could not have enough time for family and friends it is a good option to opt. For example, the life of youth is very busy and harsh when they study in universities, so they can enjoy with their friends by visiting to theatres.
To sum up my opinion, both have their benefits and associated drawbacks, but I personally enjoy by visiting to cinemas because cinemas not only provide the entertainment but aslo refreshes me by looking at the people with different culture and ethnicity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You discuss both perspectives and make your own preference clear: you recognise the convenience and affordability of online entertainment, then argue that cinemas remain valuable for social and economic reasons. This covers the main parts of the task. The online-side points about busy schedules and ticket costs are relevant, while the cinema paragraph gives examples such as meeting friends and generating government revenue. However, some claims are not fully explained—for instance, the link between cinema visits and government revenue is asserted rather than developed, and the idea that home entertainment can make someone “sick to the inner environment” is unclear. Your conclusion also says both options have benefits but could state more directly why cinemas remain important despite online access. Develop each key reason with a clearer explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a concluding opinion. This makes the discussion easy to follow in broad terms, and signposts such as “Furthermore,” “Moreover,” and “To sum up” help show how points relate. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Opponents thought that cinemas and theatre are still important. Yes. they are!” interrupts the formal progression, while “At home, one can get sick to the inner environment but by going to cinema…” does not clearly connect the contrast to the intended point. Some references, including “Such places,” could be more precise. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main claim, then link explanations and examples directly to it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “online resources,” “revenue,” “reunion,” and “different culture and ethnicity.” There are also attempts to vary expression, such as “busy schedule” and “associated drawbacks.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, sometimes making meaning unclear. Examples include “every age group people,” “get sick to the inner environment,” “the economic of the country,” and “refreshes me.” Spelling errors such as “enternainment” and “aslo” also reduce accuracy. Aim for natural combinations and precise terms—for example, describe cinemas as offering a “shared viewing experience” and say they “contribute to the local economy.” Proofread spelling and avoid repeating “enjoyment” and “busy.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “when,” and “so,” and most of the argument remains understandable. Some sentence patterns are handled successfully, such as “They can easily enjoy at home at any time after the office or busy schedule.” However, there are some recurring errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries. For example, “Entertainment always remained” uses an unsuitable tense, “one could be refreshes” has an incorrect verb form, and “when more people visit to theatre more revenue will be generated” needs clearer article use and punctuation. The sentence beginning “At this era” also has an awkward grammatical structure. Practise accurate present-tense statements and complex sentences, and check subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation when editing.
