Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You state a clear preference for online entertainment, and you attempt to discuss both views. However, the response addresses the task only partially: the online side is supported with convenience and avoiding queues, while the opposing view is reduced to a single claim about employment, with no cultural explanation or example. Your opinion is not developed beyond calling online entertainment “more convenient and effective.” The response also contains 130 words, below the required 250, which leaves the discussion substantially incomplete. To improve, explain the cultural value of shared live experiences and cinema, develop the economic point, and support both sides with relevant examples before reaching a reasoned conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic structure: an introduction followed by paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand.” This makes the intended contrast visible. However, progression within the paragraphs is weak: the first supporting paragraph repeats the claim that online viewing is effective, and the final paragraph ends abruptly after mentioning employment. The opening paragraph also runs directly into the next sentence without a space after “online.” Use one clear main idea per paragraph, connect each explanation to the task, and add a concluding paragraph that restates your position. More precise linking between claims and examples would make the organisation easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “digital age,” “entertainment,” “economically,” “culturally,” and “employment opportunities.” These terms show an attempt to address the subject, but the range is limited and several spelling or word-choice errors make the writing less clear, such as “crucail,” “agrue,” “significanes,” and “ticiket.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “watch their all favorite program on online” and “at their own pace” expressed as “their own pace” without the needed preposition. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for this topic. More precise vocabulary for cultural benefits and the cinema industry would also help you develop both sides of the discussion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and subordinate sentence forms, for example, “This is because…” and “as people can watch…,” but the range remains limited and errors occur frequently. The opening contains the faulty construction “are have become,” while “Other argue” has subject–verb disagreement. In “everyone watch online,” the verb form is incorrect, and “theatres and cinemas employment opportunities” is missing a verb. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention: several sentences run together, and commas are used where full stops are needed. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences with one clear main clause and correctly formed supporting clauses.
