Student answer (Band 5.0)
Many of individuals thinks that in digital era, cinemas and theaters are not important as they were before. they can watch all the entertainment they want on internet. but others opinions are totally opposite.
In my opinion the advanced era of social media and mobile phones has revolution and no one wants to go cinemas and theaters for watching their desired films or movies as it is the era of mobile phones and now a days every individual have their own smartphones in their pocket and have access to internet or social media where they can watch anything, anytime whenever they want to.
As people say it might be right in that way mobile phones or other electronic devices do not have big secreens and they are unable to get that cinema or theater experience maybe it can be a reason of their this opinion that cinemas are still source of entertainment.
while the other argues about the theater and cinemas are still important for economically and culturally that point is also right like hollywood and bollywood they have a huge source of income by their fil industries and people also likes to go cinemas and theaters if you want to people attract theaters then you should work on your industry also when individuals like the content they will be attracted and have good image or impact on them that will economically and for cultre point of view you should make content according and regarding your cultures and festivals of your country

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You introduce both views and give a personal position, particularly by arguing that smartphones make online viewing convenient while cinemas offer a distinctive experience. You also mention the economic and cultural roles of film industries such as Hollywood and Bollywood. However, the discussion is only partial: the economic and cultural points are compressed into one long, unclear paragraph, and the benefits of online entertainment are asserted rather than supported with a specific reason or example. Your own opinion is also not consistently clear: the second paragraph suggests cinemas are no longer needed, while later points acknowledge their value without resolving the contrast. Develop each view with a clear explanation and a relevant example, then state your conclusion directly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some basic organisation: the opening introduces the debate, and later paragraphs address online viewing, the cinema experience, and the industries’ economic and cultural roles. However, the response does not progress clearly from one developed point to the next. The third paragraph begins “As people say” without a clear reference, and the final paragraph combines several ideas in a long sentence, making the relationships between them difficult to follow. Linking words such as “but” and “while” are used, but transitions sometimes feel abrupt or do not clearly signal the argument. Use one paragraph for each main view, connect each explanation to its claim, and add a brief concluding paragraph that restates your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “digital era,” “smartphones,” “source of income,” and “culturally,” so the reader can identify the subject of the essay. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “has revolution” does not express the intended change naturally, “big secreens” is imprecise, and “people attract theaters” is unclear. Spelling errors such as “fil industries” and “cultre” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of expressions for convenience, audience experience, revenue, and cultural identity, and check spelling and word forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences and subordinate clauses, for example, “they can watch all the entertainment they want on internet” and the sentence beginning “while the other argues.” However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty or difficult to follow. Errors include subject–verb agreement (“Many of individuals thinks” and “every individual have”), missing or incorrect articles (“in digital era”), and sentence-boundary and capitalisation problems (“they” and “but” begin sentences without capitals). The final sentence also lacks clear grammatical structure, so its meaning is hard to interpret. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine related ideas with accurate clauses and check agreement, articles, and punctuation.
