There are different opinion about theatres and cinemas. Some people believes that there is no need of theatres and cinemas as they can watch any type of entertainment on the internet. While other argue that theatres and cinemas plays important role culturally and economically.

On the one hand, People in favour of online entertainment claims that it is comfortable and accessable type of entertainment. As there is no need go in person to the theatres. They can watch any type of movie at their home and donot require to watch with the crowd. For instance, advance booking is required to watch movie and you should be physically present there. While in case of online entertainment there is no restriction of time. Can watch any time you want. Also cost effective rather then physical ticket.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and give a clear preference for online entertainment in the conclusion. The first body paragraph explains convenience, watching at home, flexible timing and lower cost; the second mentions cultural value, employment and theatre technology. These are relevant points, but several are asserted rather than explained. For example, the claim that cinemas represent a country’s “old culture” is unclear, and the economic benefit is not supported with a specific explanation or example. Your opinion is also justified mainly by booking and attendance difficulties, rather than a fuller comparison of the two forms of entertainment. Develop each main point with a clear reason and a concrete example, and make your position more consistent across the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting opposing views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the broad organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some ideas are joined in ways that make their relationships unclear. For instance, the discussion moves from advance booking to online flexibility and then cost without fully connecting these points. Several sentence fragments, such as “Can watch any time you want” and “Interaction with new people,” interrupt the flow. Use complete sentences, group related reasons together, and add clearer links explaining how each example supports the paragraph’s main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “online entertainment,” “employment opportunities,” “advance booking,” and “economical effect,” so the reader can identify the main subject and arguments. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “strong economical effect,” “old culture,” and “5D visualization.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “accessable,” “facilites,” “oppertunities,” and “openion,” also reduce precision. Aim for more natural expressions and check spelling carefully. Choosing precise terms for cultural heritage, local employment, ticket costs, and immersive technology would help you explain your ideas more clearly and avoid relying on repeated general words such as “important” and “entertainment.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex forms, including a contrast between the two views and clauses beginning with “As” and “While.” However, many sentences contain errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, or sentence construction, and these sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. Examples include “Some people believes,” “theatres and cinemas plays,” and “Cinemas represents”; the subject and verb do not agree. “There is no need go in person” is missing a grammatical form, while “Can watch any time you want” is a fragment without a clear subject. Practise building complete sentences with accurate subject–verb agreement and articles, then check punctuation and avoid joining unrelated clauses with commas.
