Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the recent decades, the proliferation in theatres and cinemas had dwindled. A certain assemblage of people reckons that in digital age, theatres and cinemas are no longer important as people can watch all the entertainment thay want online. Other people refute it and believe that theatres and cinemas are still important both economically and culturally. In my opinion, both the views have their own credibility and there are profuse reasons to brace them.
To commence with, the first and foremost ground why people do not interest in theatres and cinemas is that Artificial intelligency has swayed every aspect of people's life. To be specific, people nowadays want to utilize their time and want to watch movie, so they cna download some websites in which they can see any movies and series earlier than cinemas. Another perk of this phenomenon is that watching movies in home is very affordable and convienent. For example, tickets are very expinsive and the transportation charges are also associated, rather to spend money, people choose to watch movie in their home. In addition, in cinemas people only watch movie which is available. however in home people can watch any movie they want.
On the other hand, cinemas and theatres are also important in both economically and culturally. Main reaason why they are important is that people can watch movie without any disturbance. For example, in home people can watch movie but enyone can disturb them or irritate them. Moreover, there are no issues for internet and light in cinemas, as a result we can focus on movie. In addition, in cinemas people can watch movies with their friends and families, which is not possible at home in one mobile phones.
In conclusion, theatres and cinemas are important, but they are sometimes expensive and time consuming. people can watch movies in their own home.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You discuss both views and state that each has credibility, then conclude that cinemas remain important despite cost and time. This gives the response a relevant position and addresses the main topic. However, the discussion is only partial: the online-entertainment argument focuses mainly on affordability and convenience, while the case for cinemas relies largely on avoiding interruptions and watching with others. The claim that artificial intelligence is the main reason people avoid cinemas is not clearly explained or connected to online viewing. Develop each side with more relevant reasoning and specific examples, and make your own judgement clearer rather than ending with a brief summary that does not fully resolve the comparison.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the other hand” help signal the shift between arguments, and examples are generally placed near the points they support. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several linking expressions feel mechanical or do not show the relationship accurately. For instance, “In addition” introduces another limitation of cinemas, while “as a result” connects internet and lighting to focusing on a film without a clear explanation. The conclusion repeats the main contrast but does not bring the discussion to a decisive final position. Organise each paragraph around one clear claim and use more precise links between claim, explanation, and example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “proliferation,” “affordable,” “convenient,” and “economically and culturally.” However, several choices are inaccurate or unnatural and sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. “A certain assemblage of people” is an awkward way to refer to a group, and “Artificial intelligency has swayed every aspect” does not express the intended point clearly. There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “thay,” “convienent,” and “expinsive,” alongside repeated use of basic words such as “people,” “movie,” and “important.” Choose familiar words that fit the meaning precisely, check spelling, and vary repeated vocabulary with natural alternatives.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use some longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because” and “which,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited, and attempts at complex sentences often contain errors that can make the reader pause. Examples include “people do not interest in theatres,” “people can watch movie,” and “in one mobile phones,” where verb patterns, articles, or number agreement are not controlled. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “however in home” after a full stop. Practise accurate basic patterns first, especially subject–verb forms, articles, and singular/plural nouns, then build longer sentences with clear clause connections. Proofreading for capitals and sentence punctuation would also improve readability.
