The diagram below shows how one type of desert, known as a rain-shadow desert, is formed.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The information regarding the process of the formation of rain- shadow deserts has been depicted by the assigned diagram.

Overall, it is luminous that the process contains seven stages. Its beginning with winds approach coast and culminating of dry winds reach inland areas.

At the fleeting glance over the diagram, the distance of thousands of kilometers between the sea and rain- shadow desert. Firstly, winds approach coast and then winds are pushed upwards. After pushing upwards the winds, moist air rises and cools.

Further scrutinizing and extracting the key features of diagram, moist air are converted into clouds form. After-that, rain falls are started to the clouds.

After rain falling, dry air has continued over mountains. At the ending, dry winds are reached an inland areas.
