Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, Universities urges that students must undergo for practical experiences or alternatively, they should go to foriegn countries for study before graduation. Everyone wants to have skilled and more competent employes these days. Defiently there are alot of benefits to have relevant information and experience before joining a position.
Students are the asset of a nation strength. They have the power to make a country financially strong, make a country strong enough to hold against any crisis. They have ability to overcome the challanges. To pursue their education abroad will make them more understanable, informative, and develop their thinking and awareness. International exposure is very necessary for them. It will enhance their knowledge. It will help them in grooming. Its also have positive impact on learning regarding multiculturism, diversities and problems across the globe. Those students who pratical work experience or having work placement as part of the degree must perform very well in real life because they know much about job ethics. There are some fields in which intenship is compulsory like in medical and engeenring No degree is awarded to those who do not render services in their respective departments.
Nevertheless, some people argue that studying abroad must not be part of a degree because they think that it will make treasury dry. Most of the students do not have proper resources for finances and country also cannot bear the weight of this. Some people also crticis that intentship program may cause unnecessary delay to graduation.
Inconclusion, I would like to say the although, studying abroad and work palcement may have some disadvantages but overall, it have a significant impact on personal as well professional life. The advantages out weigh the drawbacks.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and give a clear overall view: the benefits of international exposure and work experience outweigh the drawbacks. Relevant points include improved knowledge and cultural awareness, familiarity with job ethics, financial pressure, and possible delays to graduation. However, some ideas are asserted rather than explained. For example, the claim that students can make a country “strong enough to hold against any crisis” is not clearly connected to a required placement or overseas study. The discussion of costs would be stronger with a specific explanation of who pays and how this affects students. Develop each main point with a clear cause, consequence, or example so the comparison of advantages and disadvantages is more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Nevertheless” and “Inconclusion” help signal the shift in argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes uneven: the benefits paragraph moves from national strength to international exposure and then to professional experience without clearly separating or connecting these ideas. Some references are also unclear, as in “Those students who pratical work experience,” where the reader has to infer the intended meaning. Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s focus, group related points together, and make links between claims explicit rather than relying mainly on broad transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to education and employment, including “international exposure,” “work placement,” “job ethics,” and “multiculturalism.” These choices show an effort to discuss the topic beyond very basic terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause, for example “foriegn,” “employes,” “Defiently,” “intentship,” and “palcement.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “make treasury dry” and “render services in their respective departments.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise phrases such as “place a financial burden on” and “complete a supervised placement” would make your argument clearer and more appropriate for an academic essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple sentences and some attempts at more complex structures, including “Although…,” “because,” and “Those students who…”. However, errors in sentence construction and agreement recur. For example, “Universities urges” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “Its also have positive impact” contains errors in pronoun, verb form, and article use. The sentence beginning “Those students who pratical work experience” is incomplete, and “the although” in the conclusion disrupts the clause structure. Punctuation is also missing in places, such as after “engineering.” Review agreement, articles, and complete sentence patterns, then proofread each sentence to ensure that clauses are joined correctly. This will make your meaning more consistently clear.
