Student answer (Band 5.5)
In university the authorities often impose mendatory internship programme for undergraduets, which is beneficial for all students. Although students try to scape from it, because it is stressful and it brings anxiety. I believe that the experiences they achieve from that it may help them to pursue their further employment in future and its outweigh the disadvantages.
On the one hand, imposing a mandatory intership or studying abroad on students they may find it as boring things. Younger generation always prefar to do some exiting, which make them happy and they tries to avoid such work load which lead them to unnessary stress. For example, in Bangladesh the university authorities set a rule for their undergraduets that they must have to do an intership course and maximum of them make a fake copy as a proof of that they go through that kindf of prcedure. Therefore, it is a unnessary things for students.
On the other hand, working for well-known institutions may bring fortune for undergraduets. In this competetive job market having an experience gives individual advantages, which make them well prepared for post-graduation employment. Nowadays without having an experiences in job sector the human resourcers are less interested who do not have any skills or experiences in that sector.
Moreover, going through an intership programme give students opportuinty to linking up with some human resourcers who may hekpo them to find job in this compoetitive job market and also give them insight about how to complete work in that certain position.
In conclusion, imposing that kind workload on pre-graduets give them feeling of anxiety and also make depressed, while it is beneficial for post-graduates employment, which may kepp one step forward then those who do not have an

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the question and state a position: work experience can support future employment, although compulsory participation may cause stress. The examples about students avoiding placements and employers valuing experience are relevant. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The Bangladesh example focuses on students submitting fake proof, but you do not explain how this supports your overall judgement about whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The benefits of studying abroad are also not discussed, and the conclusion is incomplete, ending before the comparison is fully expressed. To strengthen the response, explain why the employment benefits are more significant than the stress or practical drawbacks, and develop at least one specific example that supports this comparison.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph presenting disadvantages, a paragraph on employment benefits, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “Moreover” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression is uneven: the first body paragraph moves from boredom to stress and then to fake internship evidence without clearly connecting these points. Some links are mechanical, and references such as “that kind of procedure” are not fully clear. The final sentence is unfinished, so the conclusion does not bring the argument to a clear close. Organise each paragraph around one main point, explain how examples support it, and complete the final comparison.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “mandatory,” “competitive job market,” “employment,” and “workload.” However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response difficult to read, for example “mendatory,” “undergraduets,” “intership,” and “human resourcers.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “bring fortune” and “gives individual advantages.” Repetition of “experience” and “students” further limits flexibility. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations for education and employment; for instance, say that a placement “improves employability” or “provides practical experience.” This would make your meaning clearer and more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a concession with “Although” and a contrast introduced by “while.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences hard to follow. For example, “Although students try to scape from it” is a dependent clause presented as a sentence, while “imposing a mandatory intership or studying abroad on students they may find it” has an unclear subject and sentence structure. Agreement and verb forms are also inconsistent, as in “which make them happy” and “they tries to avoid.” The conclusion is incomplete, which leaves its final grammatical structure unresolved. Practise building complete sentences with clear subjects and verbs, and check agreement and clause boundaries.
