Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this modern era, job market is so fluctuated, many undergraduate students are still jobless. Many university courses should be limited, in this way students should choose their path in a good way. From my perspective, choosing abroad is not much good for economically weaker people. In the forthcoming paragraphs, I shall explain the advantages and disadvantages of choosing abroad for a better future.
It is primarily believed that, many students after completing their graduation they should move abroad for their higher studies. Similarly, it could be complicated for those people who are economically weak and they can't afford abroad cost. Furthermore, all university courses should be limited, in such case students can decide their path in the shortest time. For instance, the major disadvantages of choosing another country are university fee, accommodation, rent, food expenses and other needful things.
On the other side, some advantages of choosing abroad are more job opportunities and students can do any type of work. Moreover, other countries like UK, New Zealand etc. However, these countries are more established and well developed countries. Although, we can survive there and earn more efficiently. Similarly, abroad there are many options for study purposes and for a better future. For instance, eBay company is most popular in UK.
In addition, I firmly believe that starting a postgraduate journey you can choose abroad for better job opportunities and other study purposes. It has more benefits rather than other countries.
To sum up, there are less disadvantages for selecting abroad. You can develop your own interpersonal skills as well. Abroad is basically multicultural countries and many people interact with each other and we can learn from them.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt but struggles to maintain a clear, consistent position. While you acknowledge both sides, the argument lacks depth and logical development. For instance, the suggestion that 'university courses should be limited' is tangential and does not directly answer whether studying abroad or work placements should be mandatory. The points regarding financial difficulties and job opportunities are relevant, but they are presented as a list of ideas rather than a cohesive argument. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-supported point that directly relates to the prompt's core question about mandatory international experience.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow between ideas is often disjointed. You use some cohesive devices like 'Furthermore' and 'In addition,' but they are sometimes used mechanically or inappropriately, such as starting a paragraph with 'On the other side' when the previous paragraph did not clearly establish a 'side.' Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the third paragraph where the mention of 'eBay' feels disconnected from the broader argument about international experience. Improving the use of transition signals and ensuring each sentence builds logically upon the previous one will enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'choosing abroad' and 'good way,' which are not standard collocations. There are also instances of word-choice errors, such as 'job market is so fluctuated' (should be 'volatile' or 'unstable') and 'multicultural countries' (referring to the experience rather than the country itself). To reach a higher score, focus on using more academic collocations and precise terminology related to education and employment.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'job market is'), missing articles, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'choosing abroad is not much good'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic sentence construction prevents a higher score. Focus on mastering subject-verb agreement and ensuring that complex sentences are constructed accurately without losing the intended meaning.
