Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. You have identified both advantages and disadvantages, which is good. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The argument regarding GDP and NRI remittances is a bit tangential to the core topic of university courses. Additionally, some points, such as the claim that students become 'lazy' and then 'independent', are slightly contradictory and under-developed. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting examples are more directly linked to the academic and professional benefits of studying abroad rather than general economic theories.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'To commence', 'Moreover', and 'Firstly'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'To epitome' or 'Agglomerating the aforementioned points'. The progression of ideas is generally logical, but the transitions between sentences within paragraphs could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used in the correct context will help improve the flow of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, but there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation. For example, you use 'educational firms' instead of 'educational institutions' and 'demographics' when you likely meant 'students'. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'experineces', 'thier', and 'specufic'. While you attempt to use more complex terms like 'remittances' (implied) or 'infrastructure', the misuse of basic terminology limits your score. Focus on learning the correct collocations for academic writing and proofreading for spelling mistakes.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('every educational firms ought'), incorrect preposition use ('visit out of country'), and awkward phrasing ('those students are lazy they become independent'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on mastering subject-verb agreement and basic sentence construction.
