Student answer (Band 6.0)
The Shift towards an internship or a subject which can be studies in an overseas country has a complete positive impact with the undergraduate students. In my view, although change in real curriculum brings numerous problems, the positive effects are much greater, especially in relation to better cultural understanding and in hand real life experience.
Of course we can not ignore the negative points linked to this change. The main problem is the cost associated with the change plan, which often leads to a higher budget allocation for the government sectors if the courses are offered free of charge. On other hand if if the degree is self funded by the students, this drastic plan would leads to an excessive unpredicted expenses.
However the positive impact of global education or placement offer much more wide spread and important. The biggest benefit is that the students can gain real world work experience before graduating from the university in addition if they learn a course offered in over seas they would have exposure to the global education system and much easier to work in a global organization or they can plan the higher education plans much easier.
To sum up, the small cost associated with work placement or course completion in a foreign nation are not as important as the benefit associated with that where high recognition and advanced skill can be gained before entering to the competitive market. Overall, total impact of the trend to be seen as a positive step forward.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of mandatory study abroad or work placements. The position is clear from the introduction and maintained throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While the essay mentions costs and cultural/professional benefits, these points are not fully extended with concrete examples or deeper analysis. The arguments remain at a general level, which prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. To improve, you should provide specific examples—such as how a particular industry benefits from international experience—to better support your claims.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into four paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'However', 'To sum up', and 'Of course', to link your thoughts. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or awkward, such as 'On other hand if if the degree is self funded'. Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'curriculum', 'budget allocation', and 'competitive market'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and minor collocation errors, such as 'in hand real life experience' (should be 'hands-on') and 'the positive impact... offer much more wide spread' (should be 'is'). The range of vocabulary is sufficient but lacks the sophistication and precision required for higher bands. Focusing on learning collocations and more academic synonyms will help you improve.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'which can be studies' (should be 'studied'), 'this drastic plan would leads' (should be 'would lead'), and 'in over seas' (should be 'overseas'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. These errors do not significantly impede communication, but they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. You should focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions to increase your accuracy.
