Student answer (Band 6.0)
Indubitabaly, every universities should provide their undergraduates student to study abroad even though a job opportunity. I believe that the phenomenon overpower its benefit, both will be articulated in the subsequent paragraphs.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages, and a clear position is maintained throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding communication skills is repetitive, and the point about financial constraints is generalized without exploring potential solutions like scholarships or government aid. The claim that the phenomenon 'overpower its benefit' is slightly confusing in its phrasing, though the intent is clear. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more nuanced examples and ensure that the link between the study abroad experience and the specific benefits is more thoroughly explained.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'At the outset,' 'Moreover,' and 'To recapitulate,' but they are sometimes used in a mechanical or slightly unnatural way. The transition between ideas within paragraphs could be smoother; for example, the jump from communication skills to financial independence in the second paragraph feels abrupt. Additionally, referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the use of 'this' to refer to broad concepts. Improving the variety and precision of linking words will help create a more fluid and professional flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and sophistication required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choices and collocations, such as 'every universities,' 'persuing graduation,' and 'too much high.' The use of 'indubitabaly' (misspelled) and 'preponderant' shows an attempt to use less common vocabulary, but these are not always used in the most natural context. To improve, focus on learning collocations—words that naturally go together—and ensure that you are using academic vocabulary accurately rather than just attempting to use complex-sounding words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('every universities should,' 'this are assist me'), article usage ('the fees for this types of university'), and awkward phrasing ('if they have any job so they can easily manage'). While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that your sentence structures are grammatically sound before attempting more complex constructions.
