Student answer (Band 6.0)
Every institute's undergraduate program should either have a specific amount of time learning in a foreign country or perform an employment practice. I firmly think that the advantages of this notion are more compared to its counterpart.
Working or studying outside their home country helps the student learn through adaptation. As, learning occurs outside their comfort zone, also giving the newcomers the first look of the real world. students here have to perform several tasks like, time management to ensure meeting deadlines, in a foreign country household chore are to be performed by student as well. This in turn, makes the student more mature, capable and skilled individual with both technical and soft skills. This is particularly evident when companies look for individual with diverse experiences rather than just monotonously taught person.
Still, when migrating to study or work, the person has to face some consequences as well. Prominently, the individual has to stay far from their loved ones, which leads to mental stress and insecurity. Additionally, if a person is not prepared enough to live on their own then they could face terrible outcomes like, sleep deficiency, fatigue and thinking of giving up. lastly, studying in foreign countries can give a financial burden on the student and his family so the institute should mention related details about the course in advance.
In conclusion, all university programs should have extra curriculars like study abroad or part-time employment. but before introducing it they should make the students capable enough to handle the given situation on their own plus give scholarships to help ease their financial problems.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, clearly stating a position in the introduction and maintaining it throughout. The ideas are relevant, discussing both the benefits of adaptation and skill-building, as well as the drawbacks like emotional stress and financial burden. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about 'household chores' is a bit simplistic for an academic essay. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the long-term professional or personal impact of these experiences with more sophisticated reasoning or specific examples. The conclusion effectively summarizes your stance while adding a practical suggestion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. You use cohesive devices such as 'Additionally', 'Still', and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or awkward, such as starting a sentence with 'As, learning occurs...' or 'lastly, studying...'. The referencing is generally clear, but the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that the relationship between ideas is more seamless. Overall, the structure is coherent and easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'monotonously', 'consequences', and 'deficiency'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'perform an employment practice' (instead of 'undertake a work placement') and 'give a financial burden' (instead of 'impose a financial burden'). While these errors do not impede communication, they prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. To improve, focus on learning collocations—words that naturally go together—and try to incorporate more precise academic terminology to express your ideas with greater nuance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you successfully use some complex forms, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation. For example, there are issues with article usage ('in a foreign country household chore are to be performed'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence fragments ('As, learning occurs...'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While these errors rarely impede the overall meaning, they are frequent enough to limit your score. Focusing on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and refining your use of complex sentence structures will help improve your score.
