Student answer (Band 6.0)
Every higher education institutions should provide programs to their student which include part of their study in another country or placement opportunities. I consider this as a positive development and discuss key points in this essay.
First of all if graduates will get a chance to pursue study in abroad it assist them to develop cultural understanding and achieve international knowledge in their field of study. For instance, there is an on going trend of studying abroad at present. Students from all over the world immigrating to another countries to get top tier education. Consequently, these knowledge facilitate graduates to occupy their dream job roles.
Secondly, same as top quality education giving working opportunities in abroad is pivotal as well. Securing job in this era of high unemployment considered significant step for students after studies. For example, several universities and colleges organise on job training program or placement seminars for students after graduation to acquire jobs within country or in abroad. As a result, these initiatives help many students to get jobs just after graduation and they gain valuable experience at workplace to become more successful in upcoming life
In conclusion, in my perspective providing chance to study abroad or work placement by universities is beneficial achievement. By studying in another country student gain knowledge which is internationally recognised and help them understand different cultural values which help them in future to work in multi ethnicity atmosphere. Moreover, providing relevant work placement to graduates after their studies support economical growth of the country.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by arguing that studying abroad and work placements are positive developments. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention cultural understanding and employability, the arguments lack depth and specific, well-explained examples. For instance, the mention of 'on going trend' is vague and does not directly support the argument about why universities should mandate these programs. To reach a higher band, you need to extend your ideas by explaining the 'why' and 'how' more thoroughly, ensuring that the link between the proposed policy and the benefits is clearly articulated throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'First of all', 'Secondly', and 'In conclusion' to signal the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow between sentences is slightly disjointed, such as the transition between the example of studying abroad and the conclusion of that paragraph. Additionally, referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'these knowledge facilitate', where the pronoun reference is imprecise. Improving the variety and sophistication of your linking words would enhance the overall flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'higher education institutions', 'placement opportunities', and 'multi ethnicity atmosphere'. However, there are several instances of awkward collocations and word choice errors, such as 'these knowledge' (should be 'this knowledge'), 'in abroad' (should be 'abroad'), and 'upcoming life' (should be 'future career'). To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring that nouns and verbs agree in number. The range of vocabulary is sufficient but lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Every higher education institutions should' should be 'Every higher education institution should'), missing articles ('in abroad' instead of 'abroad'), and incorrect preposition usage. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points, they are persistent throughout the text. To achieve a higher score, you should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with pluralization and article usage, and attempt to incorporate more varied complex sentence structures with greater precision.
