Student answer (Band 5.0)
Every university should conclude a schedule of time spent on studying abroad or doing work placement on undergraduate courses. Although every university is still on undergraduate courses, putting some more time period for studying abroad or doing some work placement has a several benefit, it also has some drawbacks. I think that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
One major advantage of including time for studying abroad or doing work placement is that it can make undergraduate student learns more and discovered more about studying abroad that is a rarely opportunity to have. For instance, every study schedule should be separate carefully and every university would be able to make all undergraduate feel no pressure or stress to some point that they worrying about having no scholarship to study abroad due to some fact that parents are unable to afford their children.
However, selecting courses should be decided by them self or their parent chose it for them. For explanatory purposes, if students selected their chose by their own they would be able to know about what they fond of or less fond of, especially for selecting the time period to spent on learning abroad or work placement. selecting a suitable courses that students are capable of doing what they are decided is the best way instead of forcing them to study courses that they do not actually interested in .Furthermore, some university might increase fee much higher that some students and their parents may not be able to purchased their money in order to let their child study abroad.
In conclusion, every university that added a time period to study abroad or working placement, however, it can contributed to assist students to focus and decided for their future of studying abroad or working placement.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is limited and often unclear. For example, the second paragraph attempts to discuss the benefits of studying abroad but becomes repetitive and confusing, failing to clearly explain how this reduces student stress. The third paragraph introduces the idea of student choice and financial concerns, but these points are not fully linked back to the main argument regarding the mandatory nature of these programs. The conclusion is somewhat disjointed and does not effectively summarize the main points. To improve, you should focus on developing each main idea with a clear, logical explanation and a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often difficult to follow. While some cohesive devices are used, such as 'However' and 'Furthermore', they are sometimes used incorrectly or do not effectively link the sentences. For instance, the transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is weak, and the internal logic within the second paragraph is fragmented. Referencing is also inconsistent, making it hard for the reader to track the argument. To improve, ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that ideas flow logically from one to the next using a wider variety of linking words.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The range of vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'purchased their money' instead of 'afford the costs' and 'conclude a schedule' instead of 'implement a program'. Some phrases are used incorrectly, such as 'rarely opportunity' instead of 'rare opportunity'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the reliance on basic vocabulary hinder the clarity of the argument. To reach a higher band, you should focus on learning collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary to express your ideas.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'every university are'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'student learns', 'they worrying'), and awkward sentence construction that obscures meaning. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the errors do not completely prevent the reader from understanding the general topic, they are frequent enough to cause difficulty. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, and verb tense consistency before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
