Student answer (Band 6.0)
These days some people seem to argue that it is important for every university undergraduate courses that they must be include certain limit of time spent studying abroad or gain experience in professional market. On the other hand, other believe that it is not as mandatory that students should spent their certain limit of time to studying abroad or doing a work placement. However, I completely agree with the idea that every learner should at least try to get a better opportunity. There are certain reasons of my opinion which i wish to highlight in this essay.
In the first place, it would be quite interesting to note that spend a specific amount of time studying in abroad could be beneficial for students in various ways because while studying in abroad students get international exposure and the availability of international students every student share their ideas in class which help them to learn more deeper in specific course which make innovation easier. Another major advantage of this side of the topic seem to be that studying in international university learners can build strong relations with high qualified teaching staff which help them to support and make their way easier to study postgraduate course or research program on scholorship.
To put this issue into perspective, the third most important point which is worth consideration is that, universities also focus to include internship program on undergraduate courses because it help students to experience multiple skills. For example, communication skills, Teamwork, Management skills, these skill set helps individuals to which are later beneficials for their professional life. To say further one factor this need consideration would be that providing an work placement opportunities from universities help student to secure a job easily because having a previous experience make them unique to other fresh graduates.
In conclusion, I am convinced to believe that it is indeed a debatable issue which need further analysis and discussion. However, in the light of above-discussed argument and examples it would quite safe to conclude that the advantages of including a opportunity to studying abroad or doing work in undergraduate courses are outweigh its disadvantages in many aspects.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The ideas are relevant, focusing on international exposure and professional skill development. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the discussion on 'communication skills' and 'teamwork' is a list rather than an exploration of how these skills are specifically enhanced by work placements. While the position is clear, the essay would benefit from more nuanced arguments regarding the potential disadvantages, which were largely ignored. The conclusion is slightly contradictory, as it labels the issue as 'debatable' while having already taken a firm stance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'In the first place', 'To put this issue into perspective', and 'In conclusion'. However, some transitions feel mechanical or slightly misused, such as 'To say further one factor this need consideration'. Referencing is generally clear, but the flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing. The paragraphing is appropriate, but the logical progression within paragraphs could be smoother to better connect the supporting examples to the main arguments.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks sophistication. There are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'gain experience in professional market' (the professional market), 'make innovation easier' (foster innovation), and 'beneficials' (beneficial). The student attempts to use academic vocabulary, but the execution is often slightly off-target. While the meaning is always clear, the lack of precision and the repetition of basic structures limit the score. More variety in academic collocations would improve the overall quality.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('every university undergraduate courses that they must be include'), article usage ('an work placement'), and tense/form errors ('spend a specific amount of time' instead of 'spending'). While these errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher band score. The student demonstrates an attempt at complex sentences, but these are often where the most significant errors occur, such as in the opening paragraph.
