Student answer (Band 5.0)
Yes, this should me the most discussing and upgrowing topic now a days, because it serves as the successful future of the students. As, if we look at the current era regarding the life of a student after graduation we will completely understand the importance of guidance regarding their future. All university's management should adhere the current problem and focus on the futures of their students. Universities should hire knowledgeable speakers or a teachers who can guide the students.
The purpose of the university is not only giving lessons to the children, they should build the future of their students inside the university life. Their primary goal should the the best and amaze future of their students, that how they will get good jobs from which they seek and learn different points relevant to their field. As we all know going abroad is a much better option for students to be successful. So, universities should arrange extra lecture in which they guide the students to the right path after their graduation. Some of the tricks that will significantly help them to reach their dream position in life.
This session should be arranged once in a a week, as it has a lot of advantages that can overcome the disadvantages. As by attending the motivational sessions, students will get confident and work with their heart and soul and decide to to anything to be on top of everyone. Sometimes, by attending these sessions, students did not give required time to their studies and in result they may get less GPAs, because they are more concious about their future and going abroad and to attain good job to make themselves and their parents more proud. but, in my perspective, advantages of giving extra time to the students outweighs the disadvantages they have. Students may improve their GPA as many of the universities did not want more GPA, they want skills which will be developed by motivation and practice. Not only passing the exams should be the criteria of universities, as if a student have the skills results will be of no use.
So, shaping the future of the students is more important than the results. Skills matter most of the time than getting good grades. Extra sessions should be arranged for students to motivate and guide them for their bright future. They may charge extra for it, although the future shaping in a good manner should be on priority basis.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response addresses the topic but fails to focus on the specific prompt: 'studying abroad or doing a work placement'. Instead, the essay focuses almost exclusively on 'motivational sessions' and 'career guidance' within the university. By ignoring the core requirement of the prompt (studying abroad or work placements), the response is largely off-topic. While a position is stated, the arguments are not relevant to the specific task instructions. To improve, you must ensure your arguments directly address the prompt provided rather than discussing general university improvements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often unclear due to the lack of relevance to the prompt. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'As we all know' and 'In my perspective', but they are often used mechanically or incorrectly. Referencing is sometimes confusing, and the transition between the idea of 'going abroad' and 'motivational sessions' is disjointed. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks logical flow, making it difficult for the reader to follow your argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. You rely on basic phrases like 'good jobs', 'bright future', and 'successful future'. There are several instances of awkward word choice and incorrect collocations, such as 'upgrowing topic', 'adhere the current problem', and 'amaze future'. The range is insufficient to express complex ideas precisely. To reach a higher band, you should work on using more academic collocations and precise terminology related to education and career development.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('All university's management should adhere', 'students did not give'), incorrect sentence structure ('As, if we look at...'), and misuse of articles and prepositions. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, they are often faulty or contain errors that distract the reader. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly improve your score.
