Student answer (Band 6.0)
The need of the inclusion of the subjects constituting the period of time studying or working abroad during undergraduate studies is in discussion. I firmly believe that the positive outcome of this initiative outweighs the negative ones contributing to the beenfit of the student and the country; however, the negative aspects are unavoidable specifically for developing countries.
Studying abroad for a specific period during undergraduation not only contributes to students wellbeing as well as provides country representation at the international platform. Students are equipped with confidence, knowledge and international exposure through studying outside the country and when these students graduate, they apppears as international students. Similarly, working abroad either on projects or individual jobs provides professional and inter-personnel international skills allowing students to act as experience international students after graduation. This leads to admittimg students in international universities, research organizations and multinational firms. Those students represents their countries at various platforms around the world shwocasing positive aspects of the country. For example, Arid university agriculture undergraduate students are sent to china for short study or work internships and usually they seemed appears landing either in top international universities for study or in multinational forms for jobs respresenting positive Pakistan. These international professionals later sends earned money to home country contributing country economy through remittances.
This policy have some disadvantages as most of the students specifically the talented and hardworking ones, start moving abroad for higher studies or jobs resulting in talent flow to other countries. These talents outstanding performance becomes the representation of other countries as they secure citcizenship and under-developed countries are usually affected. This talent pool is eventually lost by the producing country. For an instances, students moving to UK form Pakistan secure British passports.
In conclusion, the time spend by the students either studying or working abroad during their studies is worthy for both the country and students; meanwhile, this leads to movement of talent and country representation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, clearly stating a position that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of international exposure and the drawback of 'brain drain'. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat uneven. While the example of the Arid University students is specific and helpful, the explanation of the disadvantages is less detailed and relies on generalisations. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully explored with more nuanced reasoning, particularly regarding how the disadvantages might be mitigated or why they are considered significant enough to be a major concern.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organised with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the advantages from the disadvantages. Cohesive devices such as 'Similarly', 'For example', and 'In conclusion' are used to guide the reader. However, there are instances where the flow is slightly mechanical or the referencing is slightly unclear, such as the transition between the benefits of international skills and the specific example of the Arid University. Improving the variety of cohesive links and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the student to express complex ideas. There is an attempt to use less common vocabulary, such as 'remittances' and 'inter-personnel', though some word choices are slightly inaccurate or awkward, such as 'admittimg students' instead of 'gaining admission' or 'beenfit'. Spelling errors, such as 'apppears', 'shwocasing', and 'citcizenship', occur throughout the text. While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more careful proofreading to reach a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the accuracy of the writing. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('These students represents', 'This policy have', 'professionals later sends') and awkward phrasing ('the need of the inclusion of the subjects constituting'). While the meaning remains clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and refining sentence construction will significantly improve the quality of the writing.
