Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention personal growth and career benefits, the arguments are somewhat repetitive and lack depth. The example provided about 'this guy' is anecdotal and lacks the academic tone required for an IELTS essay. To improve, you should focus on providing more sophisticated, generalized arguments—such as the impact on global employability or cultural intelligence—rather than relying on personal anecdotes. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not effectively summarize the main points presented in the body paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For instance, 'To commence with' and 'Further more' are used, but the internal flow of sentences is frequently disrupted by awkward phrasing and run-on sentences. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the sentence 'There are also some example which, I personally have seen and witnessed it throught my eyes.' The logical progression between ideas is often interrupted by grammatical errors, making the text feel disjointed at times. Improving the use of transition words and ensuring each sentence follows logically from the previous one will help significantly.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and often repetitive. You rely on basic words like 'good', 'help', and 'learn' throughout the text. There are also frequent spelling errors, such as 'existaces', 'confidance', 'throught', and 'studing'. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of precision and the high frequency of spelling mistakes prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. To improve, you should focus on learning topic-specific collocations related to education and employment, and pay closer attention to the spelling of common words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('Every one... have'), incorrect pronoun usage ('leaves its comfort zone'), and awkward sentence structures. There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the ones attempted are often faulty. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several comma splices and missing full stops. The majority of sentences contain errors that, while not always impeding communication, are persistent and distracting. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
