Student answer (Band 6.0)
Final assessment of the graduation involves multiple factors. Working as an internee or spending time abroad for studies shall be included as courses of undergraduate students in a university. Studying in a different country or gaining work experience can expand the knowledge domain of pupils however this could also extend the time period required for the completion of graduation.
With regard to internships, these can provide with the relevant work experience. To exaplain more, majority of the field of studies demands practical work to understand the dynamics and working principles of that field. For instance, a student from the field of data science worked for an organization as inernee and learned the tools to operate and manage databases. Consequentialy, after graduation such student with relevant work experience and skill set will have numerous employment opportunities.
With regard to abroad studies, pupils will get an opportunity to enhance their knowedge area and skill set. Furthermore, such opportunites can allow the students to gain exposure to the courses or equipments which are not thought within their home country. As a result, students studying abroad can get familiar with the advanced tools of their field of study.
In terms of disadvantages, majority of the graduation fields requires a lengthy timeperiod of four years. To be more specific, undergraduate programes involves studies of multiple subjects, beside the specialized subjects. For example, on average 35 to 40 courses are essential to pass which qualifies a pupil to become a degree holder. As a result, this is already considered difficult to acheive by the scholars and eventually they need more than 4 years to study and pass all the subjects.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have addressed all parts of the prompt by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of mandatory study abroad or work placements. Your position is clear from the introduction and maintained throughout the essay. The ideas are relevant, particularly the examples regarding data science and biotechnology, which add depth to your argument. However, the development of the disadvantage section is slightly weaker; while you mention the time constraint, you could have explored the financial burden or the potential for academic disruption more thoroughly to provide a more balanced and comprehensive response. Overall, the task is well-addressed with a logical flow of ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'With regard to', 'Furthermore', and 'In the netshell' (a typo for 'nutshell') to guide the reader. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing and flow. For instance, the transition between the benefits of internships and abroad studies could be smoother. Despite these minor issues, the progression of ideas is clear throughout the text, and the structure supports the overall argument effectively.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using subject-specific terms like 'dynamics', 'biotechnology', and 'employment opportunities'. However, there are several spelling errors, such as 'internee' (intern), 'exaplain' (explain), 'inernee' (intern), 'knowedge' (knowledge), 'equipments' (equipment is uncountable), and 'netshell' (nutshell). These errors are noticeable but do not impede communication. To reach a higher band, you should aim for more precise word choices and ensure correct spelling of common academic terms. The use of 'pupils' is slightly informal for an academic essay; 'undergraduates' or 'students' would be more appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you successfully convey your meaning, there are frequent minor errors in grammar and punctuation. Examples include 'majority of the field of studies demands' (should be 'the majority of fields of study demand'), 'a lab equipment is not available' (equipment is uncountable), and 'undergraduate programes involves' (subject-verb agreement). Additionally, there are some awkward phrasings, such as 'graduation fields requires'. While these errors do not prevent understanding, they occur frequently enough to limit the score. Increasing your control over subject-verb agreement and article usage will help improve your accuracy.
