Student answer (Band 5.0)
Study in university is dream for every student. But there are only few one in this whole world who achieve this dream. In my opinion universities should arrange work placement for the students according to their instead of spent studying in abroad. I will give geniune reason for my opinion.
First of all a student continue his study after intermediate beacuse of his interest. If a student only do his study during his graduation he ears nothing. For example my cousin is graduate of bba.In his graduation time he only spend his time in degree and university didn't arrange interenships for them. After his degree he trying to find jod for his but he couldn't find the jod. Companies refuses him because he have no skill according to his degree. That is why work experience is also require with the degree.
Having work experience give us many advantages. For example if our university arrange work placement for us it give more opportunities to gain our skil.In that time our mind is going from study of our work so it is quiet easy for it to obtain the things. It help us to obtain our skill. After the graduation if we have some skill according to our degree so it is quiet easy for us to find job according to our degree.
Morever it help us how to communicate with others and dealing with other peoples. So it is good for us to gain skills during the graduation.Because it help us to choose our carrer or choose job for ourseleves.
In conclusion universities should arrange work placement for the students because it help them to gain their experience and polish their skill.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that universities should arrange work placements instead of studying abroad, supporting this with personal reasoning and an example about a BBA graduate cousin. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. The prompt actually asks whether studying abroad or doing a work placement has advantages that outweigh disadvantages, but the student focuses almost entirely on arguing for work placements while largely neglecting the 'studying abroad' aspect of the prompt. This results in a partial treatment of all parts of the task. Ideas are extended with personal anecdotes, but the reasoning remains basic. Overall, the task response meets the minimum requirements for a Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The text is divided into paragraphs, showing a basic attempt at logical structure with an introduction, body paragraphs featuring examples, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression is disrupted by mechanical and faulty cohesive devices. Words like 'First of all', 'Morever', and 'In conclusion' are used, but transitions between sentences can be abrupt. Referencing is sometimes unclear, as seen in phrases like 'didn't arrange internships for them' or 'find jod for his'. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion is weak. These issues place the response firmly at Band 5.0 for coherence and cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently relying on everyday words like 'study', 'student', 'degree', 'job', and 'skill'. There are numerous word choice and spelling errors, such as 'instead of spent studying' instead of spending, 'jod' instead of job, 'interenships' instead of internships, and 'carrer' instead of career. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the basic message, these noticeable errors and limited range prevent the score from rising higher. The lexical resource aligns with Band 5.0 descriptors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as missing articles ('is dream for every student', 'graduate of bba'), subject-verb agreement issues ('Companies refuses him', 'it give more opportunities'), and incorrect verb forms ('he have no skill', 'it help us'). Punctuation and capitalization errors are also widespread. These frequent errors cause some difficulty for the reader and restrict the grammatical range and accuracy to a Band 4.5 or 5.0. Rewarding the sincere effort to produce complex sentences, a score of 5.0 is appropriate.
