Student answer (Band 5.0)
it is widely belived that undergraudate courses should include a period of time spending in abroad either for studing or work placement.
the main advantage of including this to a student is they can have a opportunity to explore different kind of carrer outcomes availabie in other countries and wide knowledge expanding in modern days. if graduates get a chance to explore for work they can learn the real time work experience that can aquire a good experience when they passed out. so i belived includeing work placement is differnt country would really helpful to improve social connections and gives a good knowledge to chossing carrer wisely.
however there is also a disadvantege of proving it compulsory, students who cannot afford the cost of abroad they will definetely miss the opportunity and also it will become the extra add on burden to the fees, moreover including this idea would require a lot of reaserch to meet new people globally and it requires a proper team to organise everything.
in my perscepetive having this abroad opportunity to graduates can be modify to availabile for everyone in form of scholorships so the real talent will be benefical by having this opportunity

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of including study abroad or work placements in undergraduate courses. A position is presented, noting that advantages include career exploration while disadvantages involve financial burdens and logistical challenges, and a concluding perspective is offered suggesting scholarships. However, the ideas are under-developed and lack extension with specific examples. Furthermore, the length requirement of 250 words is not met, as the response contains only 199 words. Because the task response is under length and the ideas remain insufficiently elaborated, the performance aligns best with Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays some overall organization with clear paragraph breaks separating the introduction, the main body points, and the conclusion. However, the progression of ideas is disjointed, and cohesive devices are basic, repetitive, or mechanically applied, such as starting multiple sentences with 'and' or 'so'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and transitional phrases between sentences are limited, leading to a choppy reading experience. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion is weak. These features correspond well to the Band 5.0 descriptors for Coherence and Cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student uses a limited, repetitive vocabulary that is minimally adequate for discussing education and careers. There are numerous spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text, such as 'belived', 'undergraudate', 'studing', 'carrer', 'availabie', 'disadvantege', 'reaserch', 'perscepetive', 'availabile', 'scholorships', and 'benefical'. While the meaning can generally be deciphered despite these lexical and orthographic inaccuracies, the frequent errors cause noticeable difficulty for the reader and prevent the text from achieving a higher band, placing it firmly at Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response relies on a very limited range of grammatical structures, frequently featuring simple sentences or faulty complex structures. There are persistent errors in basic punctuation, capitalization (such as starting sentences with lowercase letters), subject-verb agreement, and preposition usage, such as 'spending in abroad' instead of 'spending time abroad'. Attempts at complex structures are often clumsy and fraught with errors, such as 'students who cannot afford the cost of abroad they will definetely miss'. These frequent grammatical errors cause strain and difficulty for the reader, matching the criteria for Band 5.0.
