There is widespread beleif that, every universities should involve spend a contamperary time period for all undergraduate students to study another country or take experience of their work placement. One major advatage is they gain a considerable amount of opportunity and skills during the intership. As an illustration confidence, team-work, desicion making, experience, smart work, leadership, communication skill, hard-work and crucially they earn their own money. Not only they take experience but also it help them in their carear most. Furthermore, study abroad is majorly help them to became self-reliant. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The student addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of studying abroad or doing a work placement, and clearly states a position that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages in the introduction. Ideas are presented, such as gaining skills, confidence, and financial benefits versus high costs and potential fraud. However, the development of these ideas is limited and somewhat generalised, and the conclusion contradicts the initial position by stating that the pros and cons are equal. While the core prompt is addressed, the lack of fully extended ideas and the contradictory conclusion place this response firmly at Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The response is organised into paragraphs, featuring a basic introduction, body paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression is disjointed. Cohesive devices are either repetitive or inaccurate, such as 'Equally important is the fact that' followed by fragmented sentence structures. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the mechanical transitions impede smooth reading. Paragraphing is attempted, but the grouping of ideas lacks logical flow, particularly in the body paragraphs where multiple disparate points are crammed together without adequate linking. This meets the criteria for Band 5.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text. Examples include 'beleif', 'contamperary', 'advatage', 'intership', 'carear', 'diffrent', 'cocluid', and 'eqully'. There are also awkward collocations and phrasing, such as 'take a huge amount' and 'handsome amount of money'. The lexical range is minimally adequate to convey the basic topic, but frequent errors in spelling and word formation cause some difficulty for the reader and restrict the score to Band 4.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but attempts at complex forms are frequently faulty. There are persistent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('every universities should involve spend', 'it help them'), missing articles ('study foriegn country'), and incorrect prepositions. Punctuation is also problematic, with erratic spacing around commas and full stops throughout the text. Because errors are frequent and occasionally cause difficulty for the reader in parsing the meaning, the performance aligns with Band 4.5.
