Student answer (Band 4.0)
In my opinion, all university should include a period of time spent studying abroad rather than working on placement. Placement is thing which can achieveable, if proper knowledge of course and field is their. The universities should focus quality education and pratical experience. The universities should aim real-time give experience to student rather than only theoretical knowledge. The universities should provide internships opportunities and spend period of time stuying abroad. It will help student to gain board level of feild experience and better understanding of how things works in worklplace.
The universities are responsible providing proper knownledge and guidance to students. Giving placement simply can benefited student for short term, but not for long period of time. Due to lack of practical knowledge, internships, and on-field experience in workplace student could not survived in market for long perod of time.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response is severely penalised for failing to meet the minimum word count requirement, containing only 139 words against the required 250 words. While the student attempts to address the prompt by discussing the benefits of studying abroad and work placements, the ideas remain highly undeveloped and repetitive. The position is stated initially but lacks proper extension or supporting examples, leading to a partial and restricted treatment of the task. Furthermore, the response shifts focus abruptly and fails to weigh the advantages against disadvantages in a balanced or comprehensive manner. Due to the extreme under-length and limited development, this response falls within Band 4.0 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The text exhibits noticeable issues with organisation and progression. Although there are two paragraph breaks, the internal flow within paragraphs is disjointed and repetitive, particularly with the overuse of repetitive sentence openers like 'The universities should'. Cohesive devices are minimal and sometimes inaccurate, making it difficult to follow a clear logical progression of ideas. Referencing is also weak in places, such as 'Placement is thing which can achieveable...'. Overall, the logical structure is heavily compromised by the brevity and repetitive nature of the arguments, aligning with a Band 4.0 performance.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary used is basic, repetitive, and restricted in range, featuring frequent word choice errors such as 'achieveable' instead of achievable, 'board level of feild' instead of broad level of field, and 'knownledge' instead of knowledge. There is little evidence of less common lexical items, and spelling mistakes are frequent enough to occasionally strain the reader's understanding. While some topic-related vocabulary such as 'universities', 'internships', and 'practical experience' is attempted, the overall lexical control is weak and corresponds to a Band 4.0 level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The grammatical structures are very limited, consisting mostly of simple and frequently flawed complex sentences. There are numerous persistent errors in grammar, subject-verb agreement, and punctuation, such as 'all university should', 'course and field is their', 'real-time give experience', and 'student could not survived'. These frequent errors frequently impede communication and distort the intended meaning. The variety of structures is extremely narrow, placing the grammar firmly in the Band 4.0 range.
