Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is oftenly argued that the educational institutions should include a concise time period during their learning process which allow the university students to get the opportunity to go abroad for further studies and work placement. I always inclined to believe that the undergraduates should get that prospect to grow more and earn well to support their families.
Nowadays, universities are giving the chance to their educators to travel foreign for studies and also they can get job there. There are lot of advantages of this innovation which can benefit the students and even crucial for the growth of institution. For instance, when the different pupil move any other international country, they can get a chance to study with international students came from different reigons of world, they can interact with them, they can learn more about their language, culture, customs and traditions. They can enjoy their festivals during their stay. The most important thing, they can also do job over there with studies and can make money to support their families which is consdered to be a great achievement.
Overall, this invention accompanies a huge number of advantages but at the same time, it also have some disadvantages which cannot be ignored. However, getting a chance to study abroad is not simply a small win but sometimes it is very difficult to get a job placement in an entirely new country. Students have to face lots of challegnes at a new place, they have to adjust with totally new environment and withstand with daily changing curcumstances. They have to adapt their lifestyles and have to learn more coping strategies to tackle various situations.
In conclusion, it is vaguely clear that this invention hold so much importance in the furture of students but also have some disadvantages. I contend that this should be included in all universities for undergraduates but also give surety to students about work placement during their stay.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of including study abroad or work placements in undergraduate courses. The writer presents a clear position that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, focusing on cultural exchange and financial support for families. However, some ideas are repetitive or under-developed. For instance, the discussion of disadvantages mentions challenges and adapting to new environments, but remains somewhat generalised without specific examples. While all parts of the task are addressed, the depth of exploration corresponds to a Band 6.0 level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs addressing advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is utilised to separate distinct points. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, transitional phrases like 'The most important thing' and 'Overall, this invention accompanies' feel slightly unnatural and clunky. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, such as the use of 'this invention' to refer to a study abroad programme. These limitations place the response firmly at Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, but contains noticeable errors in word choice and spelling that prevent it from reaching a higher band. Examples include 'oftenly' instead of 'often', 'educators' instead of 'educators' students (or using the wrong term entirely), 'reigons', 'consdered', 'challegnes', and 'curcumstances'. The student attempts less common vocabulary like 'interact', 'customs and traditions', and 'coping strategies', but the persistent spelling and lexical inaccuracies restrict the score to Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The text contains a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety. However, grammatical errors are frequent throughout the response. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues like 'the educational institutions should... which allow' and 'this also have some disadvantages', as well as awkward phrasing such as 'I always inclined to believe' and 'when the different pupil move any other international country'. Punctuation and preposition errors are also present. These frequent errors occasionally strain the reader, aligning the grammar with Band 5.0 descriptors.
