IELTS Writing Task 2 question
All university undergraduate courses should include a period of time spent studying abroad or doing a work placement.
Do you think the advantages of this would outweigh the disadvantages?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, all students are argue that all universities in the world should provide a period of time spent to foreign students for study or a better working placement. The upcoming essay will examine why the advantages of this argument would outweigh the disadvantages, and also give my personal opinion.
To begin with, some of universities continued their other courses after compelete undergraduate course. In addition, they did not provide any extra time for their students for spent time in part time works or other study. This is because universities do not want to distract their students from other curriculum activities. For instance, if a student doing any part time jobs while doing study, he will deffinitey going out from his subjects.
On other hand, students are demanding extra time from colleges for learning additional skills beside their courses. They want to build skills in different activities, which play vital role in their career. Although, part time work also help students in their other expenses, and with this little income learners can manage their daily expenditures. For example, if a student went abroad for study, he faces lots of finacial issues but a good working placement can give huge support.
In my view, I strongly agree with the given statement because at student age, they have to deals with different expenses. So, I think the advantages of this statement outweigh the disadvantages.
In conclusion, people are demanding a extra period of time to spent studying foreign country or doing a work in good environment. I personally believed that having period of time to spent on study and work, play a significant role in foreign students.
