Student answer (Band 5.0)
In today's rapidly rapidly changing world, this issue has become a matter of considerable debate. Some people believe that all university undergraduate courses should include a period of time spent studying abroad or doing work placement while, others argue that.
Initially, people need experience for good job. Nowadays, after graduation indivisuals did some work at many places for obtaining occupation according to their courses. Furthermore, some people have knowledge but they don't know how to execute nevertheless they should consider experience with knowledge is the key of success. For instance, one of my friends who live in Americe. He is graduared from very well known university of pakistan. He have knowledge about his study but due to the lack of experience, he cant't obtain better job according to his own wish. Moreover, his father was experienced and very wise man. He give advise to his son that if he look for good job from starting, he can't become a successful man in the future. Then he did hardwork to avail better opportunities.
However, mostly people can't afford expenses, after completing degree, they did not get opportunities and they become limited to his low level job. Some people went abroad for experience and good job although, there are also a lot of people those can't have facilities.
In my opinion, this is the responsibility of government to arrange those types of things which helps every person. If the government make easy pathway for freshers then country's economy also grow.
In conclusion, this issue has both positive and negative aspects; however, i believe that the most effective approach is to consider the longterm benefits for indivisuals and society.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt regarding whether studying abroad or doing work placements should be mandatory in undergraduate courses, attempting to weigh advantages and disadvantages. However, the position is somewhat unclear and shifts towards government responsibility and economic growth in the latter paragraphs. Ideas are generally limited and under-developed, relying heavily on a single personal anecdote about a friend rather than broader analysis. The conclusion introduces new thoughts about government intervention rather than summarizing the main arguments effectively. While the writer attempts to answer the prompt, the development of ideas lacks depth and focus, placing the performance firmly in the mid-band range. Examples of under-development include the abrupt ending of the second sentence in the first paragraph ('while, others argue that.') and the superficial treatment of the counterarguments regarding expenses and lack of opportunities.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response features some basic organization, but lacks a clear overall progression. Paragraphing is attempted, but sentences often feel disjointed due to mechanical and repetitive use of cohesive devices like 'Initially', 'Furthermore', and 'However'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the ambiguous pronoun use in 'He give advise to his son that if he look for good job...'. The logical flow is frequently interrupted by abrupt shifts in topic, particularly moving from a friend's personal job hunting experience directly into broad societal constraints regarding expenses, and finally to government responsibility. While paragraphs are present, internal logical sequencing needs significant strengthening to achieve a higher band score.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and barely adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common items such as 'considerable debate', 'indivisuals', and 'longterm benefits', but these are offset by frequent spelling and word-choice errors, including 'rapidly rapidly', 'Americe' instead of America, 'graduared', 'cant't', 'advise' used as a verb incorrectly spelt in context, and 'hardwork'. These errors occasionally cause strain for the reader, although communication of the basic message generally remains intact. The range of vocabulary is restricted mostly to everyday words, falling short of the flexibility required for higher bands.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response exhibits a very limited range of grammatical structures. The majority of sentences are simple or contain basic coordination and subordination, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, such as in the opening sentence: 'Some people believe that... while, others argue that.' There are frequent errors in tense consistency, subject-verb agreement, and punctuation, including 'indivisuals did some work', 'He have knowledge', 'he cant't obtain', 'mostly people can't', and 'if the government make easy pathway'. These frequent grammatical errors cause noticeable difficulty for the reader throughout the text.
