Nevertheless, the opportunity to develop cultural awareness, professional experience, independence, communication skills, and employability makes such programmes highly valuable. Therefore, provided that universities offer financial assistance and reasonable alternatives, I believe the advantages of this requirement would outweigh its disadvantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt regarding whether the advantages of studying abroad or doing a work placement outweigh the disadvantages. A position is presented, concluding that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. However, the development of ideas in the main body is somewhat disjointed and repetitive, moving abruptly between personal anecdotes about an elder brother and general statements about university facilities. While relevant ideas such as cultural awareness and employability are introduced towards the end, the overall development lacks clear structure and depth throughout the body paragraphs, aligning best with a band 5.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
Coherence and cohesion are significant weak points in this essay. The text suffers from a distinct lack of proper paragraphing and punctuation, resulting in long, run-on sentences that make the progression of ideas difficult to follow. Transitions between ideas are frequently abrupt, such as shifting directly from a discussion of a brother living in a hostel to general student experiences. Furthermore, referencing and cohesive devices are poorly managed, with pronouns and conjunctions used inaccurately, impeding the logical flow of the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The lexical resource is limited and basic. The student uses a restricted vocabulary with frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'abrod' instead of abroad, 'lak' instead of lack, and 'speacial' instead of special. There are also noticeable collocation and phrasing issues, such as 'join job for live better' and 'enjoy eith beautiful meal'. While the final sentences show an attempt at more academic vocabulary like 'considerable costs' and 'employability', the pervasive errors in basic spelling and word formation restrict the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0
The response demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures. Most sentences are poorly constructed run-on sentences joined inappropriately with commas or coordinating conjunctions, such as 'My elder brother also in abroad they face many type of difficulties and they live in hostel...'. There is a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues, missing articles, and incorrect tense usage. Punctuation is largely absent or misused throughout, causing considerable difficulty for the reader and placing the performance firmly in the lower band range.
