All university undergraduate courses should include a period of time spent studying abroad or doing a work placement.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
An appportunity for overseas studies and internships for some preiod of time should be established by the universities for the undergraduate students. In my opinion the merits of this trend far outnumers its demerits. so, in the forthcoming paragraphs, I have supported my stand with resonable justifications.
First of all, while persuing an undergraduation, going abroad for some study or work experience will significantly increse the student's knowladge and intrests in the subjects by working with new individuals and advance technology although it will help students to boost their spectrum by getting new ideas, advanced reserches and by involving more in group projects.
Moveover, Students will find their intrest more precisely because, no matter how much they try to focus and impliment new ideas they will alwasy in need of real-world experiences beacuse, We all know how far the difference in between what we learn and what we have to work for so, having the knowladge from a differnt country by working or studing there will increse the ability of a student to think of the box.
In addition, apart from study and work, Students will able to experience new cultures and tradition when they will go overseas. India in no less then other countires in terms of having different cultures, traditions and festival but having an experience of another country for instance, experienceing the trible community in the Africa, in New Zeland they will going to experience the incredible landscapes. so those are the things which will. help them to increse their knowladge.
In conclusion, giving this kind of oppirtunitues will increse the eager to learn more and gives them the audacity to face real-wrold and apart from that, As I mentioned students will going to experience the new traditions and cultures so form my side its always going to be benifictial for students to have experience of overseas studies or work-experience.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your response addresses the task by stating a clear position that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and you provide relevant ideas such as increased subject knowledge, international exposure, and cultural experiences. However, your ideas are somewhat limited and under-developed, which keeps the response at this level. For instance, in the second body paragraph, your points about gaining research experience and working with advanced technology are mentioned briefly without being fully explained or supported with concrete examples. Similarly, while you attempt to discuss cultural benefits in the fourth paragraph by mentioning India, Africa, and New Zealand, these points lack deep elaboration and remain generalised. To move to a higher level, you need to extend your supporting points further by explaining 'how' or 'why' these experiences benefit undergraduate students in the long term, ensuring every main idea is thoroughly explored.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
Your essay shows some basic organisation with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and you attempt to use transitional markers such as 'First of all', 'Moveover', and 'In addition' to structure your writing. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression, and the flow is frequently disrupted by mechanical and repetitive use of cohesive devices. For example, sentences are often overly long and run together with conjunctions like 'so' and 'because' rather than being separated into distinct, logical thoughts. Furthermore, referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult to follow the connection between ideas. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion needs significant improvement. To achieve a higher score, you should ensure that your ideas progress smoothly from one to the next by varying your cohesive devices and structuring your sentences so that relationships between clauses are clear and natural.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You demonstrate a limited but minimally adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting words related to education and global experiences such as 'undergraduate', 'internships', and 'cultures'. However, there are noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word formation that cause some difficulty for the reader. For example, words like 'appportunity', 'preiod', 'outnumers', 'resonable', 'persuing', 'knowladge', 'intrests', 'impliment', 'alwasy', 'oppirtunitues', and 'benifictial' contain persistent spelling mistakes. Additionally, some phrasing is unnatural, such as 'boost their spectrum' instead of 'broaden their horizons'. To improve your lexical score, you must work on your spelling accuracy and try to incorporate a wider variety of less common vocabulary with precise collocations and correct word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You demonstrate a limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on basic patterns and attempting some complex sentences that frequently contain errors. There are frequent grammatical issues throughout the text, including problems with punctuation, run-on sentences, and missing articles. For example, sentences such as 'so, in the forthcoming paragraphs, I have supported my stand with resonable justifications' and 'no matter how much they try to focus and impliment new ideas they will alwasy in need of real-world experiences beacuse, We all know how far the difference in between what we learn...' exhibit faulty punctuation and weak structural control. Furthermore, capitalization errors occur at the beginning of clauses, such as 'Students will find...'. To reach a higher band, you need to use a wider variety of complex structures with better control, reduce the frequency of basic grammatical errors, and ensure accurate punctuation and sentence boundaries.
