Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is widely believed that in today competitive world, every universities subjects should include a duration of time to spend studying abroad or doing a work area. From my perspective, they ar several challenges but also many benifts in profissional life.
On the one hand, the advandage of this to grow the students mind in early, then learn with same time in practical skills, moreover the higher education institute reffer some and espacially final semester to abroad for the boosting of learner mind and also good skills with their study time, such as many UK universities are include internship for students at hospital to train and start work after graduation. I suggest, that is good and students learn that skills with studying.
On the other hand, the disadvantage of abroad studying, the government spend huge amount on them, in contrast many university can not link another country university, then they can,t transfer credit hour for students, such as in United state of america many university can,t give permission to students, in that cases student future is not good, while in china there is several university they can,t give student non objection certificatd for internship or other industrial places working. I suggest, every university can follow some policy for give noc to students his learning time, they are best for him.
In conclusion, students learn skills with education in nowadays, further after graduation better chances coming in future, while also government make rules to connect with abroad universities for credit hour transform and saving the students life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both the benefits and drawbacks of including overseas study or work placements, and your examples about hospital internships and university credit transfer are relevant. However, the response does not clearly answer the central question of whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The opening says there are “many benefits” but also “several challenges,” while the conclusion mentions future opportunities and government rules without making a direct comparison or stating a firm overall judgement. Several points are also under-developed: for example, the cost to government is raised but not explained, and the internship example is not linked clearly to its wider value. State your position explicitly and support each main reason with a clearer explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the two sides of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are joined in long, loosely connected sentences. In the first body paragraph, the points about personal growth, practical skills, universities, and hospital internships run together without clear explanation of how they relate. Linking phrases such as “moreover,” “in contrast,” and “while” are used, but some do not express the relationship between the ideas accurately. Use shorter sentences, organise each paragraph around one main point, and make references such as “this” and “they” more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “practical skills,” “internship,” “credit hour,” and “after graduation.” These choices show an effort to discuss education and employment rather than relying only on very basic language. However, the range is limited and many spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “advandage,” “benifts,” “profissional,” and “credit hour transform.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “grow the students mind in early” and “saving the students life.” Aim to learn accurate topic-specific phrases in context, and check spelling and word forms carefully. Prefer clear, familiar expressions when you are unsure of a more ambitious phrase.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including sentences with “while,” “then,” and “such as,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement and sentence structure appear in examples such as “every universities subjects should include” and “many UK universities are include internship.” Articles and plural forms are also often missing or inaccurate, as in “at hospital” and “students learn that skills.” Some sentences combine several clauses without clear grammatical links, which makes the intended meaning harder to follow. Work on building accurate basic sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Pay particular attention to subject–verb agreement, articles, plural nouns, and punctuation when joining ideas.
