Student answer (Band 5.0)
Every university should have a study abroad councilling class or doing a work placement for undergraduate programs. In my point of view the advantages of this will outwigh the disadvantages because most of the undergraduate students needs counciling fot there higher studies and campus placements for there future moreover most of the students will have blue print for the furthers studies and chores to get done even before they graduate.
To commence with the advantages, almost every student faces a dilemma like situation in their undergraduate journey due to lack of knowledge and a proper councilling. By including a specific lecture of a study abroad councilling sessions in their time-table they may figureout which one will best suites for them after undergraduation. Moving further study abroad counciling will opens a various pathways of selection for students who passout with good academics and the ones who are financially poor. Because foregine countries will have different schloarships ranging from fully funded to partially funded for both category students.
On the flip side, There are also some disadvantages the shouldnot be overlooked. Like, even with securing schloarship a financially backwards class students cannot even afford the initial cost of the process to study abroad. Furthermore, most of the companies that visits university will not offer a bettter package foe the work placements,
To conclude with, every university should include a period of time spent in study abroad and workplacement calsses in their undergrauate course moreovere these things will have advantafges

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a position in favour of including these experiences and give relevant reasons, especially that guidance can help students plan their next steps and that overseas scholarships may widen access. However, the response only partially addresses the actual proposal: the task is about a period spent studying abroad or completing a work placement, while much of your discussion focuses on counselling sessions. The work-placement disadvantage is introduced but not explained, and the conclusion does not clearly weigh the advantages against the disadvantages. Some claims, such as students needing counselling, are asserted rather than supported with a specific example. The response is also three words below the required minimum. Develop both options in the prompt and explain why their benefits outweigh the costs.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an advantages paragraph, a disadvantages paragraph and a conclusion. Transitions such as “To commence with,” “On the flip side” and “To conclude with” help signal these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the opening moves quickly from counselling to placements and future study, and the disadvantages paragraph ends abruptly after mentioning company packages. Some linking is mechanical, and the final sentence repeats the recommendation without summarising the comparison. Improve cohesion by organising each paragraph around one clear point, using pronouns and references that clearly identify what “these things” means, and adding a complete explanation of how each point supports your overall position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to education and employment, including “undergraduate journey,” “fully funded,” “partially funded” and “initial cost.” These choices show an effort to discuss the topic beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “councilling,” “outwigh,” “figureout,” “schloarships” and “furthers studies.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “a specific lecture of a study abroad councilling sessions” and “blue print for the furthers studies.” Use accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully; distinguish counselling from a study-abroad or work-placement experience, since these are not interchangeable. More precise collocations would make your ideas clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a sentence explaining that foreign countries offer scholarships. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles and verb forms frequently affect clarity. For example, “most of the undergraduate students needs” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “study abroad counciling will opens” uses an incorrect verb form. The sentence beginning “Like, even with securing scholarship” is not a complete, well-formed sentence, and the final sentence is also incomplete in meaning. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and complete sentences before adding extra clauses. Use punctuation to separate ideas, and proofread each sentence for agreement and verb form.
