Student answer (Band 5.0)

At the time of graduation teachers ask their student to work or internship related to student course is always important part of degree program.

One big advantages is that student work in their bechulor degree related program and the university learning the topic but practice the work field is help the student to built a skills and knowledge of these course. For example my older brother studying BS computer science at the university of the Punjab,he studying 4th semester. Their teacher ask to internship in software house and learn the skill and knowledge, they started a internship in a software house as a internee after a few months they work properly as an expert the software house owner lookin the skills and knowlegde they impress them his work and offer a job upporunity. Therefore the internship is very helpful for obtaining a job opperunity after completed his study they cannot waste the time for looking the job because the skills are good and job option too much for his.

Some disadvantage is that, during studies student working jobs they cannot related to becholar's degree they earned a good amount but the end of degree the result of these jobs connot good. For instance,my university fellow study in physical education but part time job as a food resturant after the completed studies all student well sattle but his student working as manager in food resturant.

In conclution, those student internship during studies related to their field and their university subject the result is in the shape of better future as compare to those student which working different completely to their university subject at the end the future in bad.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address the topic by discussing a benefit of course-related internships and a drawback of working in an unrelated job, and your brother’s software-house experience gives the first point a relevant example. However, the response does not clearly answer whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages: the conclusion says related internships lead to a better future, but does not directly compare the two sides or state a firm overall judgement. The disadvantage is also only briefly explained, and the example about your university fellow does not show why this outcome is harmful. Develop both sides with clearer reasoning, then make your position explicit and connect the examples directly to it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph about internships, a paragraph about unrelated work, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “For example,” “Therefore,” and “In conclusion” help signal the relationship between some ideas. However, progression within the paragraphs is often difficult to follow, particularly in the long internship paragraph, where several points and events run together. References such as “they,” “their,” and “his” are not always clear, and the conclusion repeats earlier ideas rather than bringing the comparison together. Use shorter, focused paragraphs and sentences, and make each pronoun’s reference unmistakable.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “internship,” “degree program,” “skills and knowledge,” and “job opportunity,” so the reader can identify the main subject. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “the university learning the topic,” “offer a job upporunity,” and “the future in bad.” Some key terms are also repeated frequently, especially “student,” “work,” and “skills.” Build a more accurate range for discussing practical experience and career outcomes, and check spelling and natural word combinations. For example, describe students as “gaining practical experience” and say that an employer “offers them a position.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example when describing your brother’s internship and the software-house owner’s response. However, these complex attempts are often faulty, and the response relies heavily on basic sentence patterns. Errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur throughout: “their teacher ask,” “they started a internship,” and “after completed his study” are examples. Punctuation also does not consistently separate clauses, making some sentences hard to process. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using one clear subordinate clause at a time. Check subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, such as “after completing his studies.”
