Student answer (Band 5.5)
For all undergraduate couses need to include a period of get some real life and work experiences such as study in another country or doing some practical industrial work.
in my view, it has a significant positive aspect because if student will do study in another country then they started work their self and in that time they are out of their comfort zone and they will get some incredible experiences furthermore, they will started understand things, they'll be able to know about the world well how it works and how they can handle their self.
however, if we are talking about placements and practical work and it would be a valuable thing as well they provide students major experiences and reveal real work life like, when undergraduate students expect of their daily routine life see the reality of real industrial work and how it actually works and looks like. because, a lot of graduate students even don't know how the real industry wirk and how to handle things self although it challenging too but it's important for students to go to out of their comfort zone because if they don't go today then they will face it in future with double difficulties.
in conclusion, know about real life experience and real industry work is certainly important for undergraduate students, because if they start solving things theri self in this age group then they will be able to face any problem in future and then they are independent as well.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both study abroad and work placements, and your position is broadly clear: you see these experiences as beneficial because they build independence and prepare students for working life. The point that students may face “double difficulties” later if they avoid challenges now is relevant, but it is not explained with a specific example or enough detail. The response also does not directly weigh the advantages against disadvantages: you mention that placements can be challenging, but do not develop this as a disadvantage or explain why the benefits outweigh it. To strengthen the response, state your comparison explicitly and support each main reason with a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an identifiable introduction, body discussion and conclusion, and the ideas generally relate to the topic. However, progression within the body paragraphs is not always clear: the second paragraph moves from studying abroad to independence and then to understanding how the world works without clearly separating or developing those points. Connectors such as “furthermore,” “however” and “because” show an effort to link ideas, but some links are awkward or repetitive, and the long sentences make relationships harder to follow. Use one central idea per paragraph, arrange supporting explanation in a clear sequence, and make references such as “they” and “it” unambiguous.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “comfort zone,” “industrial work,” “graduate students” and “independent,” which helps communicate your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “real life” and “work.” Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “started work their self,” “major experiences” and “daily routine life.” There are also spelling errors, including “couses,” “wirk” and “theri,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise expressions for the benefits and challenges of placements, and check spelling and word forms carefully so the reader can understand your meaning without effort.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example with “because” and “although,” but these complex structures are often faulty, and the response relies heavily on long, loosely joined sentences. Verb forms and agreement are inconsistent: “if student will do study” and “they will started” do not use appropriate forms. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “in that time” and the run-on passage beginning “however, if we are talking about placements.” Capitalisation is inconsistent, and commas do not reliably separate clauses. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with one controlled subordinate clause at a time.
