Student answer (Band 5.0)
All university undergraduate Courses should definetly give the time for studing abroad and doing some more work on personal development for placement. Althought this develpoment gives more self confident to student for the placement as well as to interact with the international student for the aborad.
One major advantage is that student can be more confident for there futher workplace where they can be interact with higher Level organisation fluently and more respectfully. also the studying aborad is bg oppurtunity to interact with worldwide professor and student to develop there a skill as well as knowledge.
in addition, student are working with very effeciently and they can use there knowledge at right place to grow themselves as well as soceity growth.
however, there are several disadvantage. The most obvious concern is student are going through one less semester, there are some several subjects are include in the syllabus. that can be affect in there therotical knowledge as well as they cannot implement this knowledge in there personal, however the one semester is added for the study aborad or work placement they can completely lost from there recent curricular activites this can be biggest challenge face for the student, this gives there very hard to come again on the academic this can be impactful on there results.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both the benefits and drawbacks and give a clear overall preference in the conclusion, describing overseas study or placement as “definitely helpful” despite the possible loss of a semester. The benefits you identify—greater confidence, international interaction and workplace experience—are relevant, as is your concern about disruption to academic learning. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening appears to support both studying abroad and placement, while the conclusion weighs the benefits against a drawback without explaining why the benefits outweigh it. Ideas are also asserted rather than developed; for example, explain how interacting with international students builds skills, or give a specific example of how a placement affects academic progress. This limited development and partial explanation keep the response at this level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on advantages, a paragraph on disadvantages and a conclusion. The contrast signalled by “however” helps readers see the shift to the opposing view, and “in conclusion” marks the ending. Within paragraphs, though, ideas do not always progress clearly. The advantages paragraph moves from confidence to international interaction and then societal growth without explaining the links. In the drawbacks paragraph, several concerns are crowded into one long sequence, making the relationship between a semester, lost curriculum time and results difficult to follow. Referencing such as “this” and “there” is often unclear, and connectors are sometimes mechanical. Use shorter, logically ordered sentences and make each reference explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “personal development,” “work placement,” “theoretical knowledge” and “curricular activities.” These choices show an effort to discuss education and employment, but the usable range is limited and several spelling, word-form and collocation errors make the message difficult to read. Examples include “studing,” “aborad,” “defenietly” and “time spam”; phrases such as “higher Level organisation” and “society growth” are also unnatural in context. Repetition of “student,” “knowledge” and “growth” further restricts precision. Build a reliable set of topic phrases and check spelling and collocations, such as “gain practical experience,” “develop professional skills” and “academic progress.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a contrast between advantages and disadvantages. However, sentence structures are limited, and attempts to combine several ideas often produce frequent grammatical errors that make relationships unclear. For example, “student can be more confident for there futher workplace where they can be interact” has problems with articles, agreement, pronouns and verb construction. “Student are going through one less semester” also has an incorrect subject–verb pattern, while the long sentence beginning “that can be affect” lacks controlled clause structure. Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, particularly at sentence beginnings. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles and verb patterns first, then build longer sentences using one clear main clause and a carefully controlled subordinate clause.
