Student answer (Band 4.5)

Nowdays some people belive that all the students should spend a period time studying in another country or working in a company as part of their degree. Althought this idea has some disadvantages, I believe that the advantages outweigh them.

Their are many students the part time and practice an experience is good. For examples the students on your free time a part time jobs in companys this jobs for helpfull for all students because on yopur partical work for company and easily solve the topic and improves your courses and all the soluction for all this perbloms. And helpfull for your work in the furtue time and you can esaily start on your work and to not worried about these problems because you have already works for the different company and need new experience for the secinor.

Secondly some people say that the students the part time time not good for your studies and time wates. They students only fouces on your studies and than good result and not your wastes your time and every time fouces on your studies. And than complete your studies and started your work.

The sutdents the part time work used full in future work because you can easily setup the busciness than the result best and your parcitace on your work easy and and your experience helpfull for busciness and your workers easily decided for emolyes. And your business for the final results are good and more advantages for your business. And some students only fouces in your study or not practice on live and not expericence is good not than the complete your studies you can not eassily started your busciness you have not a idea this busciness and experience.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You give a clear overall view in the introduction: “I believe that the advantages outweigh them,” and you attempt to discuss both benefits and a possible drawback. The strongest relevant point is that workplace experience may help students prepare for future employment or business. However, the response does not fully address the task: it focuses mainly on part-time work and business, with little discussion of studying abroad, and the disadvantage is only briefly stated as time being wasted. Ideas such as how placements improve employability need clearer explanation and a specific example. To strengthen the response, develop both sides of the comparison and explain why the benefits are greater, rather than repeating that experience is helpful.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is an attempt at an overall structure, with an introduction followed by paragraphs signalled by “Secondly” and “And,” and the reader can identify a general movement from benefits to a disadvantage and back to benefits. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because several points are joined together without a clear relationship. For example, the first body paragraph moves from part-time jobs to solving course topics and future work without explaining the links. The final paragraph repeats earlier claims rather than adding a distinct stage to the argument. Use one main idea per paragraph, support it in a logical order, and use clear references and linking phrases to show contrast and cause and effect.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.0

Your vocabulary is basic and repetitive, which makes some ideas difficult to understand. Words such as “helpfull,” “experience,” “work,” and “business” recur frequently, while several attempted expressions are unclear, including “practice an experience” and “setup the busciness.” There are relevant topic words, such as “company,” “studies,” and “future,” but they are not combined into accurate, natural phrases. Spelling errors—including “Nowdays,” “belive,” and “expericence”—also reduce clarity. Build a small set of accurate expressions for placements and study abroad, and check spelling and word forms. More precise phrases such as “gain practical experience” would help communicate your points without relying on repeated general words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt a few longer sentences and use basic connectors, but sentence structures are often incomplete or inaccurately formed, so the reader has to work to understand the meaning. For example, “Their are many students the part time and practice an experience is good” does not form a clear grammatical sentence, and “They students only fouces on your studies” has problems with sentence structure and agreement. Articles, pronouns, and verb forms are also inconsistent, as in “the students on your free time a part time jobs.” Most sentences are not controlled well enough to express the intended relationships. Practise writing clear subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking agreement, articles, and punctuation.
