Student answer (Band 6.0)
There is no gainsaying the fact that every university pre-graduate couses should have a specific time-period for sending students to study in international nations or doing an internship. While this trend offers both advantages and disadvantages, I personally believe that the benefits far outweigh its drawbacks.
At the outset, the most plausible reason for my opinion is the opportunities they got there. The individuals can meet new personalities and widen their social circle, providing them an opportunity for networking also. In other words, they not only widening their circle but also gaining experience by facing different personalities there. Additionally, they can acquire knowledge as well as get financial stability.
When they earn their own money and study in the international universities, they also feels a sense of accomplishment. To illustrate ,a student going to abroad for six months to learn their interests by doing a pratical work under some experienced person would get both education and financial benefits.
Moreover, it can also contributes in their personal development. As the youngsters who are living alone in the other countries will learn to cook their food, manage their expenses and earn a living on their own. It would play a crucial role in their life.
There are several disadvantages of this trend also. The most obvious drawbacks is its cost of studying abroad. Some students are working hard to get education in the universities, they are already paying a large sum of money in their own institutes. If they had to even pay the expenses of travel tickets and accomodation, it would have adverse impact on their financial as well as mental health. Nevertheless, the universities can provide scholarships for those who are talented but has money-issue. Apart from it, imposing this rule in every academic institution can be challenging at first. However, with proper facilities and awareness of its benefits can help in reinforcing this rule.
Conclusively, from my perspective the benefits of networking as well as personal and financial growth far outweigh its cost of travelling. Therefore, including a time-period for studing or working in an international country should be compulsory in all universities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you believe the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, and the conclusion restates this view. You address both sides, giving relevant advantages such as networking, practical experience and independence, and disadvantages such as travel and accommodation costs. This covers the task well overall. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained: for example, “acquire knowledge as well as get financial stability” is not clearly connected to either studying abroad or a work placement, and the example of a six-month placement could explain more specifically what the student learns. To strengthen the response, develop fewer points in greater depth and clarify how the proposed period could work for students who cannot afford it.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two paragraphs on advantages, a paragraph on disadvantages and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Additionally,” “Moreover,” “Nevertheless” and “Conclusively” help signal the direction of the argument. The progression is generally understandable, though some connections are mechanical or unclear. For instance, “At the outset, the most plausible reason for my opinion is the opportunities they got there” does not clearly identify who “they” refers to, and “In other words” introduces a point that largely repeats the previous sentence rather than clarifying it. The advantages paragraphs could also be organised around distinct ideas, with each point developed before moving on. Use clearer referencing and more varied links between claims and examples.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “networking,” “sense of accomplishment,” “personal development” and “adverse impact.” These choices show an effort to express ideas beyond basic terms. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less natural: “pre-graduate couses,” “international nations,” “meet new personalities,” and “learn their interests” are not appropriate expressions in context. There are also spelling errors such as “pratical,” “accomodation” and “studing.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than formal-sounding phrases, and proofread spelling. Building a reliable set of expressions for placements, overseas study, costs and independence would make your vocabulary more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional sentence (“If they had to even pay…”) and a relative clause beginning “As the youngsters who are living alone…”. The main ideas are usually understandable, but errors in agreement, verb forms and sentence construction recur. Examples include “they not only widening” instead of a correctly formed verb phrase, “they also feels,” and “it can also contributes.” The sentence beginning “As the youngsters…” is incomplete as written, while “with proper facilities and awareness of its benefits can help” lacks a clear grammatical subject. Work on matching subjects and verbs, completing subordinate clauses, and checking tense and article use. More accurate control of these patterns would make your varied sentence structures easier to follow.
