Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, their is an ongoing debate on higher eudcation or doing work in abroad. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, if you have resources, you must go for syudy. And if you do not have funding then apply scholerships and find jobs in abroad is right approach.
Firstly, we talk about their disadvantages. In recent years, spending to much time on studying may be create some consequences. For example, some parents send their children to abroad for higher studies. When they go the other country they faces a huge problems such as part time jobs, food issues and maintaining thier studies. In this situation the child may be face depression and some bad activities like smoking or drinking etc. These consequnces effect the children life as a whole. On the other hand, finding jobs in global level are more difficult day by day.
Now, we see the advantages of higher education in abroad.Higher education is to much expensive in abroad. Most of the individuals can afford this. They will make to well educated his child. When they completed his education they came back or job in abroad and help to growth thier family and also country. If you get a chance to job in abroad thats good way to your future.
In conclusion, it depends on person to person situation which are the facilities avaliable. If you have a good background you must go abroad for higher studies and help to native country economic growth. Furthermore, you get a chance to explore new culture and tradations.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a general view that studying or working abroad can benefit people with sufficient resources, and you mention relevant concerns such as cost, employment, and adapting to life overseas. However, the response only partially addresses the actual question: it discusses studying abroad or finding work abroad, rather than whether every undergraduate course should include a period abroad or a work placement. Your position on whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages is also not clearly stated or maintained; the conclusion says the choice depends on personal circumstances. Several points, including depression and helping the home country, are asserted without explaining how they support your answer. Focus on the required course component and compare its benefits and drawbacks directly, using developed examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help identify the stages of your discussion. However, the overall progression is not clear because the paragraphs shift between studying abroad, working abroad, and the cost of higher education without consistently linking these points to the question. Some connectors are used mechanically or inaccurately, and references such as “they” and “this situation” do not always make the intended meaning clear. Group related ideas around the advantages and disadvantages of a required study-abroad or placement period, and use linking phrases only where they show a precise relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “higher education,” “part time jobs,” “funding,” and “explore new culture,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “find jobs in abroad,” “help to growth,” and “economic growth” in the conclusion. Spelling errors include “eudcation,” “scholerships,” and “tradations.” Build a more accurate set of phrases for this topic, such as “study overseas,” “undertake a work placement,” and “gain practical experience.” Check spelling and whether verbs and nouns combine naturally before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including a conditional sentence beginning “If you have resources” and a contrast introduced by “On the other hand.” This shows some effort to vary sentence forms. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some ideas hard to follow. For example, “they faces a huge problems” has agreement and plural errors, while “the child may be face depression” uses an incorrect verb form. “They will make to well educated his child” is also difficult to interpret because the sentence structure is faulty. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and complete predicate.
