Student answer (Band 6.0)
The marjority of the universities all over the world offer degree programs having similar course outlines. Despite having same study topics, the teaching methods of universities in various conutries differs from each other. Hence, a breif period for studying abroad or internship should be consider mandatory in order to complete undergraduate degree in all the universities.
There are certain undergrad study programs that demand a student to be able to cope and coorporate with people of different cultures. For instance, the degree programs related to finance and marketing require the learner to explore the economical trends all over the globe. Permitting pupils to study in foreign country, even for a semester would increase their proficiency level.
Furthermore, the aim of many undergradute programs is to train their students to solve real world problems. In particular, the purpose of software engineering degree is to produce the students who can provide solutions to practical problems by designing the softwares. Therefore, these undergrad fields should follow the pragamatic approach and allow their students to gain hands-on experience for a short-period of time.
Although, migration of every students through the students exchange programs is not a practical approach. It can result in burden on national economy, if government is bearing all the expensis. Similarly, some of the pupils specifically females are not allowed by the families to move abroad or to work in an coporate environment. As the result, the opportuinties are not same for every student.
In conclusion, moving to foreign countries for study or doing internship is not possible of every student due to financial and cultural constraints. However, including these activites as a part of curriculum would be beneficial for students who are eager to excel in their field of interest.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address the central question and present a clear overall view: placements or overseas study can benefit students, although access may be limited by financial and cultural constraints. The examples involving finance and marketing, and software engineering, are relevant and help explain how international exposure or practical experience could support learning. However, the response does not fully weigh the advantages against the disadvantages: the benefits receive more explanation, while the drawbacks are stated briefly and their effects are not explored in depth. The conclusion also says the policy would benefit students who are eager to excel, but does not clearly resolve whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages for all undergraduates. Develop both sides and state that comparison more explicitly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, two paragraphs explaining potential benefits, a paragraph on limitations, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “Although,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow. Some connections are less smooth or precise, however. The opening moves from differences in teaching methods to making placements mandatory without fully explaining the link, and “Although” begins a sentence that does not complete the contrast grammatically. The final paragraph also repeats the constraints and benefits without clearly synthesising them into a direct answer to the outweigh question. Strengthen transitions by showing how each point supports your overall judgement, and use referencing that makes the relationship between ideas explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “course outlines,” “proficiency,” “hands-on experience,” and “financial and cultural constraints.” These choices help communicate ideas about education and employment. There are also attempts at more formal or specialised language, but several spelling errors and imprecise collocations reduce accuracy, for example “marjority,” “conutries,” “coorporate,” and “economical trends.” Phrases such as “migration of every students” and “pragmatic approach” do not express the intended ideas naturally in context. Aim for accurate, conventional combinations and check spelling carefully; precise wording will make your argument clearer without requiring more complicated vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex forms, including a conditional clause in “if government is bearing all the expensis” and a relative clause in “students who are eager to excel.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors occur in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction. For example, “the teaching methods … differs” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “should be consider mandatory” needs a passive verb form. “Although, migration … is not a practical approach” is an incomplete or incorrectly connected construction, and “not possible of every student” uses an incorrect grammatical pattern. Review agreement, articles, and passive forms, and check that contrast clauses are attached to complete sentences.
