Student answer (Band 5.0)
All universities should give oppunities to students to study abroad or doing work placemnet. In this topic we will discuss why university should include this thing and their advantages or disadvantages.
All universities should include a period of time spent studing abroad and doing work replacement. These type of things motivate them and they have chance too see the worls and built skills. In case of studing abroad with their degree they get chanse to learn new things from other universities because they have different environment. They can explore more tecniques from others and become more confident about their work. For example, if i am talking about myself. I am cruntly persing a degree of graphic design is i get a chance to study abroad it will be great for to learn new things about my degree about thier culture and how to manage all things.
And if talk about getting replacement work it also is the best thing. Getting breat from studies and dong work explore world, learn new things, how to manage life and time. Students should do this to check their abilities what they can do or what should they improve.
But with all these thing every thing has two ways like advantages or disadvantages. If thie university gave them this type of oppturinity it can help them with their studies or in their lifes but if we see the negative way it will be dangerous for them. It can harm them like bad intractions bad habbits or bad compony it can destroy them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the topic by discussing both study abroad and work placements, and you give relevant potential benefits, such as learning from different universities, building confidence, and developing time-management skills. The personal example about studying graphic design also helps connect the topic to your experience. However, the response only partially answers the central question: it does not clearly state whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The disadvantages are mentioned briefly as “bad interactions,” “bad habits,” and “bad company,” but these points are not explained or compared with the benefits. To strengthen your response, state your position clearly in the introduction and conclusion, then develop each main reason with a specific explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to benefits, a work-placement point, and disadvantages. This gives the reader some sense of organisation. However, the overall progression is not clear because the introduction promises a discussion without establishing your position, and the final paragraph does not resolve the comparison. Connections between ideas are often repetitive or unclear, as in “And if talk about getting replacement work,” while “But with all these thing” introduces a contrast without developing it. Some sentences also combine several points without showing how they relate. Use topic sentences to guide each paragraph, link reasons with precise transitions, and finish with a conclusion that directly answers whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “degree,” “environment,” “confident,” “abilities,” and “manage time,” so the reader can identify your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spelling errors make parts difficult to understand. For example, “work replacement” appears to mean “work placement,” and “getting breat from studies” obscures the intended meaning. Phrases such as “explore more tecniques from others” and “bad compony” are also imprecise. Aim to learn accurate collocations for education and employment, and proofread spelling carefully. More precise expressions such as “gain practical experience” and “adapt to a different culture” would help you explain your ideas clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “if I am talking about myself” and a contrast introduced by “if we see the negative way.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, and articles can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “All universities should include a period of time spent studing abroad and doing work replacement” does not form a clear parallel structure, while “Students should do this to check their abilities what they can do” has an unclear clause connection. Practise building complete sentences with one main idea, then add subordinate clauses accurately. Check subject–verb agreement and use consistent verb forms when describing general benefits.
