Student answer (Band 6.0)
At present, the undergraduate courses only spent time studying india or doing a work placement in india but I believe all university undergraduate courses should consider spending time studying abroad or doing a work placement because this will definitely help students to get good experience or exposures.
On the one hand, the university requires to spent money for building undergraduate courses which include studying abroad or work placement. For example, to teach the course to the student in abroad, the university should hire professionals and an internal team who can manage these course. As a result, the university's budget for this type of course will increase.
On the other hand, despite of disadvantages, there are many advantages that students will be benefited for such as they will meet foreign people and make great connections which helps them to build strong network, they will know the culture and languages spoke in abroad countries, they will get benefits of the practical learnings which is implemented differently in foreign nations. In addition, they might get work placement based on the performance of the course they have enrolled for which helps them to get good salary job in abroad. Therefore, including a period of time in the undergratuate course for studying abroad or doing a work placement will surely help the students.
In conclusion, though there are some disadvantages which can be handled by university through funds and government schemes, I think the advantages of spending time studying abroad or doing a work placement outweighs the disadvantages because it will make the students career and the future bright.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You answer the question directly and maintain a clear view that the benefits outweigh the costs. The response includes relevant points on both sides: increased university expenditure is presented as a disadvantage, while cultural understanding, language learning, professional connections and employment prospects support your position. However, some benefits are listed rather than explained. For example, you say students may make “great connections” and obtain a well-paid job abroad, but do not show how likely or broadly applicable these outcomes are. The cost argument is also narrow, focusing mainly on hiring staff and managing courses. Develop fewer points with specific explanations or examples, and consider practical disadvantages for students, to make the discussion more fully supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for disadvantages and advantages, and a conclusion that restates your position. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the argument. Within the advantages paragraph, however, several ideas are joined in a long sequence, so the relationships between cultural learning, practical experience and employment are not always clear. Some linking is also mechanical, and “despite of disadvantages” does not form a clear transition. Group related benefits and explain each in a separate sentence, using references such as “this experience” or “these skills” clearly. This would improve progression and make cohesion less dependent on formulaic connectors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “work placement,” “foreign people,” “culture,” “practical learnings” and “government schemes,” which makes the main ideas understandable. There are also attempts at more specific expressions such as “build strong network.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “good experience or exposures,” “languages spoke,” and “make the students career and the future bright.” “Undergratuate” is also misspelled. These issues sometimes make the intended meaning less precise, even though the overall message remains clear. Aim for accurate academic collocations and check word forms and spelling; for instance, use “gain valuable experience” and “improve students’ career prospects.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a contrastive opening (“though there are some disadvantages…”) and a relative clause (“which helps them…”). The main argument is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. Examples include “the undergraduate courses only spent time,” where the subject and verb do not fit, “the university requires to spent money,” and “the advantages … outweighs,” where agreement is incorrect. There are also problems with articles and sentence construction, as in “hire professionals and an internal team who can manage these course.” Work on verb forms after modal or infinitive constructions, subject–verb agreement, and plural forms. More accurate control of these patterns would make your varied sentences clearer.
