Student answer (Band 5.0)
During undergraduate studies, we all get a complete sechdule of our coursework. Everyone will follow them and have no other choice. The debate about counting the similar kind of work already done by student or a time spent abroad in relevent activaties.
The benifits of knolowdge abroad is more benifical than it negtive aspects. Similarly, job expierence is also provides a hands on skills directily matched with curriculam in university program. Their are a lot of other advantages of these two steps if taken by student. For instance, international education give more parctical and innovative approch to handle the task. The physical expierement is more reliable sourse of knowledge rather than the only theory based lessons.
If we talk about the postive aspects of work placement, why it should be count in curriculam is it higher relevency of commercial skills. For example, the student who graduate with only concepts and have no idea about the actual use will no longer survive in real professional life. On the other hand, people who have required abilities to apply what they learned will be in demand.
Even the student with these two extra activities bypass any things in curriculam. However, they are still ahead of all others. They are assests for others as well. Others can connect with them to understand about how practical life demands from fresh pass out. The student with international expousrs also crucial for others in terms of skills which they observed from people comes from multiple cultures. If we talk about the disadvantages of this apporch is no loner in talks because there are no negative aspects of this activati.
Overall, based on the details and the examples the advantages are significant rather than the disadvantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and you discuss both study abroad and work placements. Relevant points include gaining practical skills and learning from people in different cultures. However, the task is only partly developed: the claim that international education offers a more practical approach is not explained with a specific example, and the work-placement paragraph makes broad claims about employability without showing how a placement produces that outcome. The disadvantages are dismissed as having “no negative aspects” rather than considered; for example, you could acknowledge costs, access difficulties, or disruption to study and explain why the benefits still prevail. Develop fewer points with clearer reasoning and examples to make your response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, separate discussion of benefits, and a concluding position, so the reader can identify its general direction. However, progression between ideas is not consistently clear. The opening refers to a “debate” about counting previous work or time abroad, which does not clearly introduce the question, and the paragraph beginning “Even the student…” shifts between curriculum, peer learning, and cultural exposure without a clear sequence. Linking phrases such as “Similarly,” “For instance,” and “On the other hand” are used, but some connections are mechanical or do not accurately signal the relationship between ideas. Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s main point, then explain and support it before moving on. Clearer referencing would also help readers follow who “they” and “others” refer to.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “work placement,” “commercial skills,” “practical,” and “multiple cultures.” However, the range is limited by repeated general terms such as “advantages,” “skills,” and “student,” while frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “sechdule,” “benifits,” “knolowdge,” and “expousrs”; these errors affect the reader’s confidence in the message. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “hands on skills directily matched with curriculam” and “physical expierement.” Build a more precise set of topic phrases and check spelling and collocations carefully. This will help you express your ideas without relying on vague or awkward wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use some simple sentences and attempt longer structures, including a conditional idea in “The student who graduate with only concepts…” and a contrast introduced by “On the other hand.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make several sentences difficult to process. For example, “Everyone will follow them” has unclear pronoun reference, while “job experience is also provides” combines incompatible verb forms. There are also agreement and sentence-structure problems in “international education give” and “why it should be count in curriculam is it higher relevency.” Practise forming accurate subject–verb patterns, passive constructions, and relative clauses. Shorter, correctly controlled sentences would make your reasoning clearer before you attempt more complex forms.
