Student answer (Band 5.5)
People hold different views regarding studing courses. In today's rapidly advancing world individuals argue that all the bachelor student should spend a period of time to study abroad or doing a work placement like internship. I firmely believe that work as an internship or study abroad have more benefits rather than challenges.
On the one hand, there are several advantages are available to study another country. Firstly, youngsters meet another person and develop their knowledge in the early age. On the more that they know more languages in their surrounding. Secondly, a well educated student get their skills like communication and bussiness skills. Thirdly, undergraduate students have much facilites to explore the whole country to move move one city to another for write the research paper and also have apportunities to complete the thesis or report project. For instance, most persons want to move another country like europe for higher study and get more facilities of jobs are also available there and i think some humans have a dream to move abroad. Finally, the biggest benefit is that students are able to explore their subjects and also got a command on their specific subject like mathematic subject. For example, i am a mathematics student so that is why i have commands on operational research and also know the routes of traffic.
On the other hand, there are also some drawbacks that some persons faced in their real life. Individuals do not have much money to survive alone. Furthermore, some families have not much funds that to go abroad their childrens for higher studies.
In conclusion, although work as an internship faced challenges, it also have a lot of benefits to survice in the future and also explore the whole world.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that the benefits outweigh the challenges, and you mention relevant advantages such as language learning, communication skills and subject knowledge, alongside the financial difficulty of studying abroad. However, the response only partly addresses the task because it shifts between studying abroad and work placements without explaining the benefits and drawbacks of both options. Several points are asserted rather than developed: for example, the claim that students can travel between cities to write research papers is unclear, and the mathematics example about “the routes of traffic” does not clearly show how a placement or overseas study helps. Develop fewer points with specific explanations and examples, and make the comparison of advantages and disadvantages more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, an advantages paragraph, a disadvantages paragraph and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. You also use signposts such as “On the one hand,” “Firstly,” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within the main paragraph is uneven: several ideas are added in sequence without clear links, and “On the more that they know more languages” is difficult to follow. Repeated sequencing words make the organisation feel mechanical, while the conclusion introduces “work as an internship” without resolving the earlier shift between placements and overseas study. Group related points, explain how each supports your position, and use clearer references between sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “communication skills,” “higher study,” “internship,” and “operational research.” This gives you some means of expressing the main ideas, but the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning unclear. Examples include “studing courses,” “well educated student get their skills,” “much facilites,” and “survice in the future.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “firmely,” “bussiness,” and “apportunities.” Aim to learn topic-specific phrases in context and check spelling and word forms. More precise expressions for costs, practical experience and academic development would help you explain your argument clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use some simple sentences and attempt longer structures with connectors such as “although” and “so that,” but the range is limited and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in examples such as “all the bachelor student should” and “it also have a lot of benefits.” Sentence construction is also problematic in “there are several advantages are available” and “some families have not much funds that to go abroad their childrens.” These errors can make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then extend them with one subordinate clause at a time. Check articles, plurals, verb agreement and punctuation when editing.
