Student answer (Band 5.0)

All unversity undergraduate courses provide some free time to studying abroad or doing a work placement .All the student need to think about how they want to spend our time in this period. As per my mind, this time students need to make plans of whole hoildays . I am agree that studying abroad is very good choice but doing a work in internship bases also a perfect choices.

Lets try to elaborate why we think that doing a work placement is not a bad choices? Firstly the main point that students learn to do job intership is sitting continously to do work this help younger to how to sit for long hour . Secondly , student mindset also improve to do work. This help enhance the brain structure to how we able to finish work timely . moreover, the students can get pratical knowledge about work which they done in theory bases. Younger can also able to make perfect working style. We know the book can help to knowledge about the course but if we do work as per education help to use knowledge in pratical based. While some students belong to middle class family they need to do work for living expenses which is not bad . Because all the family not afford to study his children in expensive unversitys but they try to educate our children for better unversitys just because of his future not want to compromised so that students also take step to earn money for paying living expenses altleast.

Yes, I am understand that the spent free time to studing abroad is also good . Just because in these free time spome student feel bore and some students not focus to study is main problem ? some students not wanted to go back unversity after break because the mindset of study was distrubed and they not able to wake up early in the morning as well. So studing abroad like canada, usa, england, germany was the countries who give proper education in these days and top ranking collages and unversitys provide short term courses to student which help the student to get more knowledge. Studing abroad not only focus on theory based education they also give assignments and seminors to get great experiences and earn forgein education certificate which help the student to get high scale job opportunties .

Overall, Both points to studing abroad and doing a work placement give knowledge and improve brain . This help students to understand the importants of time in life .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss both work placements and studying abroad, and your examples about gaining practical experience and learning in another country are relevant. However, the central question is whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and your position on this is not clearly stated or consistently developed. The opening says both options are good choices, while the conclusion only says they provide knowledge and improve students’ minds; neither directly compares benefits with drawbacks. The discussion of work placements includes several points, but ideas such as learning to sit for long hours are not convincingly linked to educational or career benefits. To strengthen the response, state clearly which side outweighs the other, then develop a few relevant reasons and explain the disadvantages in relation to them.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs on work placements and studying abroad, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Overall” help signal the stages of your discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the work-placement paragraph moves from workplace habits to brain development, practical knowledge, and family finances without clearly connecting these points. Some linking is mechanical or unclear, as in “Yes, I am understand” and the question-like sentence about students losing focus after a break. Referencing such as “this” and “they” can also leave the reader unsure which idea or people you mean. Group related points together and use clearer transitions to show how each example supports your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to education and employment, including “practical knowledge,” “living expenses,” “assignments,” and “job opportunities.” These choices show an effort to discuss the topic beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “good,” “help,” “work,” and “knowledge,” while frequent spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make meaning harder to understand: “unversitys,” “hoildays,” “pratical,” and “forgein.” Some combinations are also unnatural, for example “work in internship bases” and “high scale job opportunities.” Build a more precise set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations. For instance, describe placements as providing “hands-on experience” and explain that overseas study can “broaden students’ perspectives.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You try to use both simple and longer sentences, including clauses with “because” and “which,” and the reader can generally identify your main topic. However, the range of structures is limited, and attempts at longer sentences often contain frequent errors that make relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “All the student need to think about how they want to spend our time,” “I am agree,” and “some students not wanted to go back university.” These show problems with subject–verb agreement, verb forms, pronouns, and sentence construction. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent, as in “a perfect choices.” Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Review agreement, past and present forms, and punctuation, especially where several ideas are joined in one sentence.
