Student answer (Band 6.0)
All university undergraduate courses should include a period of time studying abroad or doing a work placement. This can help students to get work experience in practical fields at broader level and also leave the beneficial impact on their CV's. But international trips cannot be accessible for every student also there is high possibility that students can distract from their degrees. In my opinion, the advantages of it strongly outweigh the disadvantages.
First of all, the main advantages of getting a course from abroad can help students to get explosure and knowledge of different cultures, which expands their thought process, also helps them to build confidence to attract with people easily. On the other hand, if the students get the part time job opportunity under the under graduate degree that will benefit them to enter the professional field directly after the completion of degree without wasting years to get experience in the relevant filed.
Meanwhile, there wil be financial hurdles for the students to afford international visit during their studies, and the students with jobs during their studies can lose the interest in completion of degree or that will impact their studies. However, this issues can be resolve easily, if the university provide the scholarship for their talented students and the teachers keeps the proper check nd balance to their students during job time of students then student will be motivated and focused to study.
In conclusion, the advantages of having a period of time at international university and a job placement during the under graduate degree outweighs the disadvantages of it. If university heads and tutors helps the students to provide them finacial support to cover the international trips and keeps them focused and motivated throughout their degrees.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you believe the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, and you address both study abroad and work placements. Relevant advantages include cultural exposure, confidence, and gaining experience before entering a profession; you also recognise financial barriers and the risk that work could affect study. This covers the task, but some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For example, the link between cultural exposure and confidence is brief, and the claim that students can enter professional fields directly would be stronger with a specific example. Your proposed solutions—scholarships and teacher monitoring—are relevant, though their feasibility is not explored. Develop each main idea with a clearer explanation or example to make the argument more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to advantages, disadvantages and a conclusion. Paragraphing helps the reader follow the main stages, and signposts such as “First of all,” “Meanwhile” and “In conclusion” make the direction clear. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. “On the other hand” introduces another advantage rather than a contrasting point, while “However” shifts to solutions without clearly showing how they answer the drawbacks. References such as “this issues” and “that” also make some links less precise. Use transitions according to the relationship between ideas, and connect each solution directly to the problem it addresses for smoother progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “work experience,” “different cultures,” “financial hurdles,” “scholarship” and “professional field.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and you attempt some less common expressions. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the phrasing awkward: “get explosure,” “attract with people,” “proper check nd balance” and “relevant filed.” “International trips” is also less precise than the intended idea of a study-abroad period. Aim for accurate, natural combinations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “gain exposure,” “interact with people” and “relevant field” would make your argument clearer and more academic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “which,” “if” and “however,” so there is some variety in structure. The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “This issues can be resolve” has problems with number and verb form, and “the university provide” and “the teachers keeps” do not maintain subject–verb agreement. The final sentence also has agreement problems in “university heads and tutors helps” and “keeps.” Articles and sentence boundaries need attention as well, particularly in the long sentence beginning “However, this issues…”. Review agreement, verb forms and punctuation, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
