Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You state a general view that studying abroad is beneficial, and you mention independence, gaining knowledge, employment and income. However, the response only minimally answers whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages: the disadvantages are not clearly identified or compared with the benefits, and several points are difficult to interpret. The example about students working part-time because their parents cannot pay fees is relevant, but it does not clearly show why the overall advantages outweigh the drawbacks. The conclusion, “doing study is better option,” gives a position but does not summarise a developed argument. The response is also 42 words below the required minimum, leaving too little space to explain and support the ideas. Develop both sides and make the comparison explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has separate paragraphs for an introduction, supporting points, a contrasting section, an example and a conclusion, so the reader can recognise an intended structure. Basic linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “On the other hand” and “In addition” also signal relationships between ideas. However, progression is not consistently clear: the paragraph beginning “On the other hand” mainly lists possible benefits of placements rather than presenting a clear disadvantage, and the example is not explicitly connected to the claim that advantages outweigh disadvantages. Several transitions are awkward or repetitive, and the introduction promises reasons without clearly previewing them. Use each paragraph to develop one clear point, and connect examples back to the argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to education and employment, including “self dependent,” “financial,” “placement,” “side income” and “future business.” These choices show an effort to discuss the topic rather than relying entirely on very basic words. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choice are frequent enough to strain understanding, as in “marities,” “outweight,” “demarities,” “standert” and “prospector.” Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear, such as “a time period invest on the education abroad” and “do unique and high in future.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, use “study abroad,” “gain practical experience” and “career prospects” to express your ideas more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a conditional idea in “if an student want to do unique and high in future.” However, the range is very limited, and frequent errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles and verb forms make several sentences difficult to follow. For example, “a student become self dependent” lacks subject–verb agreement, while “it help them to gain knowledge” has the same problem. The opening sentence is also incomplete or unclear in its construction, and punctuation is often missing after full stops and commas. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “although” and “if.”
