Student answer (Band 5.5)
University education is essential for everyone. Some people argue that there should be internship for students during their courses or a period of time spent studying abroad. This development has some disadvantages but I believe that the advantages are more significant.
On the one hand, undergraduate courses that include internship and studying abroad opportunities is very significant. This is because it develop modern skills and independence in learners. When courses offers work placement it also provide little amount. By using this amount the graduates afford his semester fee and cannot rely on any dependent. It also promote skills because in international study the student acquired multiple skills like creativity, time management and how to communicate with other people. This skills benefit the learner in the future. It becomes easy for him to find a job. Furthermore, it leads to experiance because they came through from different hardhips and difficulties. It becomes easier for them to tackle and handle any situation. For example, a skill ful persom have higher chances to find a job then the unskilled person. These graduates can also built organization in country. Which can enhance employment opportunities for residents. They can work in this organizations.
On the other hand, it also has several demerits because the graduates cannot give attention to theories and they also sometimes disappear when move to foreign countries for studies. Theory is also very crucial because it help you sometimes and if you don't have enough knowledge you cannot get out of some critical situations. For example, when you went somewhere the interviewer also ask question regarding theory. If you dont have enough knowledge it will cause rejection. Some learners go to foreign countries and hide thierselves. This is because their only purpose is to earn money and get nationality of that country.
In conclusion, I think that it has several disadvantages but the advantages outweigh because it offers carreer opportunities and helpful in gaining experiance and skills.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you believe the benefits of placements or overseas study outweigh the drawbacks, and you discuss both sides before reaching that conclusion. Relevant benefits include developing independence and practical skills, gaining work experience, and improving employment prospects. However, some points are not fully explained or are unclear. For instance, “graduates afford his semester fee” does not clearly show how a placement provides financial support, and the claim that graduates can “build organization in country” needs a clearer link to the benefits of the requirement. The disadvantages are also less developed: the concern about students hiding abroad is asserted rather than supported. Explain each main point with a specific, plausible example and connect it directly to the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion that restates your view. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the overall direction. Within paragraphs, however, ideas sometimes shift abruptly or their connections are difficult to follow. The move from students’ skills to building organisations and creating employment, for example, is not clearly explained. Some references, including “This skills” and “They can work in this organizations,” also make it hard to identify exactly who or what is meant. Group related points, use clearer references, and add linking explanations so each example follows logically from its main idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a range of vocabulary relevant to education and employment, including “independence,” “time management,” “employment opportunities,” and “critical situations.” These choices allow you to communicate the main ideas, but word choice, collocation, and spelling errors are noticeable and sometimes make meaning unclear. Examples include “provide little amount,” “came through from different hardhips,” and “skill ful persom.” Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “build organization in country.” Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling carefully; for example, describe placements as providing “a small income” and say students “overcome challenges.” More precise vocabulary will help you explain your ideas without relying on broad or awkward phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including explanations with “because” and a conditional sentence beginning “If you don't have enough knowledge.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main argument is generally understandable. However, errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction recur. For example, “opportunities is” should use a plural verb, while “it develop” and “courses offers” need matching subject–verb forms. In “When you went somewhere the interviewer also ask,” the tense shifts awkwardly. There are also unclear sentence boundaries, as in “Which can enhance employment opportunities for residents.” Practise checking each sentence’s subject and verb, and connect dependent clauses to complete sentences.
