Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is true that university undergraduate courses should include a period of time spent studing abroad, overall lot's of subject like Ai,robotics, biological, arcitectural and other lot's of subjucet to improtant so we should try this type of courses time spent in abroad.while, doing a work placement to help student and benifit in future.

All over university are trying few courses should include a period of time spent studing abroad, this type of activity are lot's of benefit in studant aslo benifit in university. For example,my university are open in exchange program in other countries university and they called an exchange program, here lot's of benefit in abroad top ranking university are this type of oportunity and student learn lot of think like there culture, mordern lab uses, problem solving, good invironment ,course modul benefit, and lot's of other think.

One of the most important think if any studant exchange a program and go abroad and one semesteer course complet they have much idea generate and then came here after they produce there experiace and course module update and lot's of student are better problem solving and lot of benfit. And also a university a help to grow a reachers paper educational system and most improtant how to improve a whole education system in university.

On the other hand work placement is also important in all over the studant .Just studing abroad are not a solution but also a work placement also a important.Overall all studant after studing need to work, that's ehy work placemnet are most important.Every university should try a work placement day in campus and lot's of company here and hire a studant for vacancy and benifit for students.

In my opinio university shoud try lot's of courses should include a period of time spent studing abroad this type of work in day by day increase and help students, while work placemnt also try to increase becouse after study student need job that's also improtant in each and every students.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both studying abroad and work placements, and you give relevant reasons, such as exposure to other cultures, modern laboratories and problem-solving, as well as the possibility of gaining employment experience. However, the response only partially answers the central question: it does not clearly weigh the advantages against the disadvantages or explain whether the advantages outweigh them. Your position is also difficult to identify consistently; the opening supports overseas study, while the conclusion says both options should be increased without making a direct comparison. Develop a clear answer to the outweigh question, include at least one disadvantage, and explain why one side is more significant. The response meets the stated length requirement; 26 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has separate paragraphs for the introduction, benefits of studying abroad, work placements and conclusion, so there is some organisation and the reader can identify the main topics. However, progression within and between paragraphs is often unclear. For example, the paragraph about exchange programmes moves from university benefits to students’ learning and then to updating course modules without clearly showing how these points connect. Linking expressions such as “For example,” “On the other hand” and “In my opinion” are present, but some are used mechanically or do not establish a clear contrast. Improve the progression by giving each paragraph one main point, explaining it in a logical sequence, and using clear references to connect examples to that point.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “exchange program,” “problem solving,” “work placement” and “education system,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “benefit,” “important” and “student.” Frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices sometimes make the message difficult to follow, as in “studing,” “oportunity,” “experiace” and “course modul.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “much idea generate” and “a work placement day in campus.” Build a more accurate range of topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations. For instance, describe students as gaining “practical experience” or “developing professional skills,” rather than repeating general claims about benefits.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example by using “while” and “and,” but the response relies heavily on simple structures and many longer sentences are not controlled. Errors in sentence boundaries, agreement, articles and verb forms occur throughout. In “this type of activity are lot's of benefit,” the subject and verb do not agree, and the sentence needs a clearer grammatical structure. Similarly, “Every university should try a work placement day in campus and lot's of company here and hire a studant” combines clauses without a complete, accurate structure. Use shorter sentences where needed, then practise accurate complex forms with clear subjects and verbs. Check punctuation and sentence boundaries so that each idea is expressed as a complete sentence.
