Student answer (Band 5.0)
Career counsling play an important role in life of a student. Many students in graduation students had a question in their mind when they think about their future, some of them wants to pursue futher education in foreign countries some of them have a goal to work aboard. There is aslo road map, enough information or a guideline which is needed tho achive these goals.I strongly agree with the view that courses in universities taught to undergraduates should must have few minutes students future goals wather they thinks for study or work aboard.
On one hand, there would be some effects of utilizing the time of course on counceling it may divert the attention of students from the actual coure slybus but also reduce the content lingth with is tobe deliverd. Some how it may discourage the students from the study if there focus in diverted to work and earn money only.
On the Other hand, although it have some negative effect but its positive effect are more then its cons. Firstly it helps student to choose better carieer and minimize to be the chance to be less educated or unemployed. Secondly after getting the knowleadge about how to reach aboard and work their students get confidence. I have a real life example of myself, my professors gave me road map to studyaboard like how to apply, where to apply during the class on end of lecture this make me more confident and able to get admission aboard for masters.
In conclusion, time killed on carieer counceling of have pro and cons but the positive aspect covers its negative effects on student in universities. The official should pay attention to make students able to decide their future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall view that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, and the personal example about your professor helping you apply for a master’s abroad is relevant support. However, the response only partially addresses the specific proposal: the task asks about a required period of studying abroad or completing a work placement, whereas much of your discussion shifts to career counselling and guidance about working or studying overseas. The disadvantages are also briefly stated and not fully explained, and the benefits are asserted more than developed. To strengthen the response, discuss the actual placement or study period, explain its practical benefits and costs, and make the comparison between them more explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, contrasting body paragraphs and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On one hand,” “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression is weakened because the introduction focuses on counselling, while the body shifts between course content, employment and overseas study without clearly linking these points to the required placement. Some connections are also unclear, particularly “time killed on career counselling,” and the conclusion repeats the general position rather than drawing together the main reasons. Use topic sentences that directly address the question, and connect each example to the claim it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to education and employment, including “undergraduates,” “career,” “unemployed” and “admission,” and the reader can generally identify your intended meaning. However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-choice and collocation errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “course slybus,” “content lingth,” “road map” and “time killed.” Some expressions are also imprecise for the task: “few minutes” does not clearly describe a period of study or work placement. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases, such as “work placement,” “international study experience” and “practical skills,” and check spelling and natural word combinations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a contrastive structure beginning “although it have some negative effect.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries can make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “Many students in graduation students had a question” has an unclear noun structure, while “some of them wants” does not agree in number. The opening also contains a run-on sequence of ideas, and “courses … should must have” uses incompatible modal forms. Practise building one clear clause at a time, then combine clauses with accurate conjunctions; check subject–verb agreement and use either “should” or “must,” not both.
