Student answer (Band 5.0)
Due to rapid advancement in technology the pace of education has increased. Education widen a person's mental horizon. At this phase students have to get proper knowledge in both practical and theoratical based.
I firmly believe that, if, universities include a period of time spent studying abroad or doing a work placement, then it would be open more opportunity options for the undergraduate students, because with the help of internship they can exploure a diffrent land and it will make them more confident ,when they present their ideas in other countries and can learn, how their theoratical knowledge works in actual way. In addition, in work placement, for instance in the pharmaceutical company, they can prepard by their seniors. In university, they learn only theory of machines but does not know how handle and operate the machine system. As abroad lands are mainly used more advance technology, students can enhance their knowledge
As every coin has two sides, here some diasadavntages also there. Some students are come from non-financially independent background then it would be difficult for them to persue studying abroad. However, universities should include a time spent studying abroad but not take as compulsory.
In conclusion, in my opinion, this plan would be open a dors for students, however, Government should provide abroad study with low fees or give some finnacial benefits therefore all students, even they have low finnacial background, they can achieve also their thieir goals.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a clear position that the benefits are worthwhile, citing confidence, practical experience and exposure to advanced technology. You also recognise a relevant drawback: students from less financially secure backgrounds may struggle to participate, and you suggest lower fees or financial support. However, the discussion is only partial and several points are asserted rather than explained. For example, the pharmaceutical placement and machine-handling examples are not developed to show how they support your overall judgement, and the suggestion that participation should not be compulsory sits uneasily with the task’s proposal that all courses include it. The response contains 226 words, below the 250-word minimum; 13 words copied from the prompt were not counted. Develop the examples and clarify your position on compulsory participation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on disadvantages and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “In addition,” “However” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the discussion. Nevertheless, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow. The benefits paragraph moves quickly from confidence to internships, pharmaceutical companies, machine operation and technology without clearly connecting each example. Some links are also mechanical or unclear, as in “As every coin has two sides, here some disadvantages also there.” Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s main point, then explain and connect examples to it. Clearer referencing and more precise transitions would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “practical,” “theoretical knowledge,” “work placement,” “financially independent” and “advanced technology.” These choices show an effort to discuss education and employment rather than relying entirely on very basic terms. However, errors in spelling, word formation and collocation are frequent and sometimes make the meaning less clear: “exploure,” “diffrent,” “diasadavntages,” “open more opportunity options” and “open a dors” are examples. Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “prepared by their seniors” when describing workplace training. Aim for accurate, natural combinations and check spelling carefully. A smaller set of well-controlled topic-specific expressions would communicate your ideas more effectively than repeated or awkward phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure beginning “if universities include a period of time…” and a contrast introduced by “However.” This shows some willingness to vary sentence forms. However, complex attempts are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence construction can make the reader pause. For example, “Education widen” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, “Some students are come” uses an incorrect verb form, and “they learn only theory … but does not know” shifts the subject and agreement. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with misplaced commas and missing spaces. Practise building accurate clauses first, then combine them; check that each verb agrees with its subject and that sentence boundaries are clear.
