Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, we experience a lot of changes in the technology and transport we saw a lot of progress in all the Various fields but the problem is that the education and the methods doesn't change from the nineties like we see the same thinks point and exams every year and that's not enough in now days because a lot of students when they education they face the same problem that they don't have experience at work and that's a huge problem for them becoming a challenge for them to find a job.
company's are not just looking for a degree they need your experience to work with them and without that it will be hard for you to find a job so I see that it's the time to change that, and that with giving students a time to spent studying adroab or going to a work placement to practice and use that time to get experience and build a conference at work and face challenges that's will develop the skills of the students and get a chance to be in the society and get to have more relationships than well help them in they career, for me I struggle to find a job when I graduated I had no exercises and I was just giving my CV for I lot of companys without getting any offers until I start doing my own project at home and practicing more until someone in LinkedIn saw my work and he like it so it's so important to give that time to students.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a relevant position in favour of including work placements or overseas study, and your personal example about struggling to find work after graduating supports the point that practical experience can help. However, the response addresses the question only partially: it focuses almost entirely on employment benefits and does not explain any disadvantages or directly weigh them against the advantages. Several claims, such as gaining relationships and developing skills, are mentioned but not explained with specific examples. To strengthen the response, state your view clearly in an introduction, discuss at least one realistic drawback—such as cost or disruption to study—and explain why the benefits nevertheless outweigh it.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable line of thought: it moves from changes in society and education to employers’ expectations, then to the value of placements and your own experience. This gives the reader a general sense of your argument. However, the ideas are presented in two very long blocks, with no clear paragraph structure or distinct introduction and conclusion. Linking is also repetitive, especially the repeated use of “and” and “so,” while some references, such as “that” and “they,” are unclear. Organise the essay into paragraphs with one main purpose each, and use clearer transitions to show contrast, cause, and conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “work placement,” “experience,” “skills,” “career,” and “CV,” so the main message is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or spellings make parts difficult to interpret. For example, “build a conference at work” appears to mean build confidence, and “exercises” is used where “experience” is intended. Phrases such as “the same thinks point” and “in now days” are also unclear or unnatural. Aim for accurate topic collocations and check spelling carefully; a smaller set of precise expressions will communicate your ideas more effectively than repeated general words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, including a cause-and-effect explanation of why graduates need practical experience. However, these complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader work to follow the meaning. For instance, “the education and the methods doesn't change” has subject–verb agreement problems, while “when they education they face” is missing a grammatical structure. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also weak, particularly in the opening and the long sentence beginning “company's are not just looking for a degree.” Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then add subordinate clauses with accurate verb forms and punctuation.
